Start for the reason of the poor review because anything positive was tarnished. I had a Server issue I'm not sure if she was new to service industry or what, but I specifically mentioned my Avacado allergy yes I know it's horrible. I order civeche and of course it comes with avocados and I asked luckily I asked when it was served and she responded "oh yea it does" no apology or even ask to exchange. Then the dish I ask to have avacado removed comes and it's right next to avocados. Needless to say her lack of care or effort to accommodate me the consumer has tarnished this restaurant for me and the michilada eh it was Ok at best. Better off going to many other Pilsen establishments that can cater and knows how to serve there customers. By the way it's hard to get anything less than a 3 star for me, but I honestly feel I wasted money on food brought to me that I...

We made a reservation on Cinco de Mayo, but when we got there they were totally packed and there wasn’t a hostess, so it was clear staff were overwhelmed! We walked home to try again the next day, and were the only people in the place :D The chile poblano margaritas were awesome, and the tacos we had were delicious. Loved the Coca Cola pork belly, the mole was fantastic, and they had a special taco with apples and pears that was super interesting. Our server was wonderful and even gave us tequila shots for not being able to sit with our reservation the previous night. The space is lovely, bright murals and nice booths, and we will be back! We have been regulars for takeout and Taco Azteca and are excited to have a cute place to eat out now that we’re vaccinated. Give it a try, but keep in mind they can get overwhelmed easily when they’re busy because...

Horrible service, I asked for the same drink 3x times each time with less ice and every time it had more ice than the previous. I asked for less ice because the drinks are watered down.. Waitress completely ignored us and kept forgetting about us. Food was mediocre at best. Only good thing was the bucket of pacifico which at this point even they couldn't mess this up. Oh yeah bring a bottle opener because the waitress won't bring that. Used a fork to open the beer and even then the fork broke. Stay away and save your money for a better venue. Even if I receive a free food coupon for this place I would throw it in the garbage because that's where this place belongs. Move this place to the north side where you can over charge and under serve. Does not belong in a place like Pilsen. Stay away!!! Better restaurants in the...

Berrinches means tantrum and that’s is exactly what your going to throw here. Where to start, they forgot to put half our order in. We were a large group and we were there celebrating Father’s Day during the week. Place was empty maybe two other tables. So they forget half our order, food comes out in waves, so some people have food others don’t. Drinks- horrible, I ordered a mezcal old fashion and What I got was like rubbing alcohol with kook-aid. The rest of the drinks were equally bad. Presentation, son tacos there no need to dress them up, this isn’t a bayless restaurant, no need to do fancy plating. Food, más feo que pegarle a Jesús en Semana Santa. It wasn’t that good. The the tacos had some fusion thing going on, but to be honest nothing of note and nothing to come back for.

Only Had $5 margaritas to go. So I can't comment on the food. The server/bartender was great. Stopped by around lunch time on Saturday while walking around Pilsen. The $5 margarita sign caught the attention of my significant other since she loves margaritas. I was very pleased that the margarita was balanced but at the same time you could take the alcohol. I've had margaritas priced between $18-20 in the past and this margarita holds its own with being top 5 I've had. I did notice that it was hard to get service since it's located kinda basement style. The bathroom was clean and the mural was a cool addition.

Stumbled upon this quaint Mexican Restaurant in West Pilsen area (off Ashland) and I love it. They have a $5 margarita special daily and free chips/salsa. Overall good food. The rice could use a little sprucing up with flavor or sauce but I liked my food and drinks both times I’ve visited. Servers were nice and attentive. They self DJ from an iPad, so feel free to drop a music request. 😉 Things I tried: Guac, Rice (fun orangish color), black beans, al pastor tacos, empanadas, margaritas and strawberry fresca. Side note, heart shaped tacos for Vday
