This place is A1, never the 2. My friend and I came in on Sunday afternoon after randomly finding out about this place and we were NOT disappointed. As you walk in, you’re greeted with the sound of beautiful music and the sweet smell of incense. You walk to the back, and there’s a coffee shop and the (I’m guessing they were the owner) owner greeted us as soon as we walked in and asked if we had been there before. They asked if we needed recommendations, but I was in there for one thing only and that was the fruit loop matcha. Fruit loops have been dear to my heart since a child so I was so excited to try the drink. It was AMAZING, literally 12/10 the owner did that. I didn’t even wanna finish it, that’s how good it was. My friend got the iced vanilla lavender latte and it was fye. The coffee was strong, yet still sweet and cold throughout. Yummm. I will 100% be back!!! Run, don’t walk to Soul Full!!!!

We walked in based on their sign. The ladies working there, who I think are the owners, were so amazing and friendly. To me, this isn't a bookstore where you walk in with a specific book in mind. It's more you walk in and let a book speak to you. We described someone and they suggested some books that suited them. We did buy one of them. The atmosphere was so chill and relaxed. The Cafe in the back was a whole vibe, great for ig pics. We had a smoothie and a tea. The smoothie was delicious. We signed up for their rewards program and were told about the Happy Hour 7-8 am! We can't wait to come back.

The owner has a unique heart of gold and a dominant yet welcoming presence about her. Truly a spirit unmatched and one that will leave you at peace to be your authentic self while in the shop. I came to the shop in its earlier days and came back for Open Mic last week. Seeing how much both the shop and owner has grown together is amazing like to experience someone real time grow with their dream leaves me in awe. Just an inspiration. Please definitely add this place on your bucket list of places to go to while in the Chi!

My brother and I were looking for a local cafe to study/work at during my finals week in law school, and we found Soulfull.

In 2024, there aren't many businesses that actually have heart. A lot of things are money-grabbing and ads are absolutely everywhere. And don't get me wrong. I get that businesses have to make money. Entrepreneurs need to eat and maintain their businesses. But things have gone too far in the last few years where everything is an ad that doesn't deliver.

This place is the one, and I mean the ONE, business I've been in where it feels like the motivation isn't maximizing profits, but providing a safe space that meets the needs of the community. Mariah is such a lovely soul. I was fully able to study here.

This place is so unique. I mean someone was getting a tattoo in the other room while we were here!!! so cool. We have a new favorite place in our...

I have visited Soul Full Chicago a few times now. Each time I learn something new about the business! They have so much to offer and the staff is so nice. My favorite part is the cafe. Not only is it beautiful but so relaxing! The staff is so friendly. I didn’t even realize that I stayed over their business hours but they accommodated me while I got my work done! They are open for book suggestions so anything you don’t see there don’t be afraid to ask them about it. They offer a variety of weekly events which I can’t wait to attend one day. I appreciate their long flexible hours! Many bookstores don’t accommodate customers with their hours! This is a Black Woman owned establishment. Very professional and great customer service. Can’t wait for...
