MOLDY FOOD & HORRIBLE "CUSTOMER SERVICE"
I placed an order for pickup for my coworker and I. Along with drinks and stuff, we both got the same sandwich. I picked them up and when I got to our office, we found that they both had MOLD on them. I called the restaurant just to let them know so that they didn't give others moldy bread too, and the guy on the phone just got defensive with me and started telling me it was impossible, there's no way it can be mold, they freeze their bread right away, etc. He told me to come back and get a new one, but I told him no, I was already at work and couldn't come back, and just wanted a refund. He then tried to convince me I was just seeing FLOUR, saying "the white powder is normal!!" and refused to believe me when I told him what I was talking about was not white powder, it was GREEN and it was MOLD. I told him I had taken these pictures and would be happy to send them to him, but he ignored that comment and just stayed defensive and rude.
I had already filed something with customer service, so after that unpleasant exchange, I didn't press the issue any further since I thought I didn't need anything else from him; I assumed that since I used the Dunkin app to order this, Dunkin corporate would be refunding me, but apparently I was wrong. Dunkin customer service basically just emailed me and said "the franchise owner should reach out within 2 business days," but they did not. This happened 12 days ago and I still have heard nothing.
I don't know why it's taking a multimillion dollar company 2 weeks to refund one person roughly $30, especially when they literally gave that person moldy food, but its despicable. I'm literally being punished for using their app, because if I had ordered delivery with Uber Eats or something, I would already have my money back.
Also, I don't know why, but the food quality at this franchise in general is much worse than other Dunkins. I stop here sometimes because it's close to work and I've never had such disappointing Munchkins (dry, underglazed) and sandwiches (soggy, falling apart) as I get here. I put up with it because it's close, but clearly, I will no longer...
Read moreThis is the closest DD to me, and I HATE going here. Service is always slow. The staff is often busy yelling at each other or off in the back, not paying attention. One of the managers was very creepy and gave me his phone number on my receipt. I was extremely uncomfortable with it and the female staff member could definitely tell. She looked up from making my bagel to make fearful eye contact with me as I tried to brush it off politely and leave.
Today I was told that they are raising the prices when I calmly asked why my medium coffee and bagel came out to $6.08. I realize that is beyond the employee's control and she gave me a discount, but the menu has it posted as $4.19. She stormed off after I paid and left me alone, waiting several minutes for someone else to wander up front and make my bagel. This is two bad experiences too many. You're better off going to the DD at Western & Addison or Ashland...
Read moreMake sure you guys ask for your receipts!! He likes to charge full price and mark a discount but yet give you change of full price on a lot of orders so that he can keep the extra change and he won’t give you your receipt so you don’t notice. I use to work here just quit. It was the most frustrating thing EVER. All my co workers noticed this too but nobody wanted to speak up. Worst experience and job I ever had! On top that he pockets our tips and leaves 2$ for us which we had to split between 2-4 people. NEVER AGAIN! The managers name is HITESH. Be careful and ALWAYS ask for your receipts!!! Every time I would ask him or call him out he would act stupid or clueless like he didn’t know what I was talking about and then ended up saying he does that cause the register is short or that people give fake bills sometimes but he’s the only one at the register. He’s very...
