Prince St. Pizza in Chicago is an absolute must-visit for any pizza lover. From the moment you step inside, the energy is electric—the aroma of freshly baked dough, rich tomato sauce, and sizzling pepperoni fills the air, instantly making your mouth water. This place has mastered the art of bringing New York-style pizza to the Windy City, and they do it with flair, authenticity, and an uncompromising commitment to quality.

Let’s start with their signature Spicy Spring slice—this is what dreams are made of. The thick yet perfectly crispy Sicilian-style crust provides the ideal foundation for layers of flavor. Their signature fra diavolo sauce delivers the perfect balance of tangy and spicy, while the fresh mozzarella melts into a creamy, gooey perfection. But the real star of the show? That iconic, thick-cut pepperoni that curls up into crispy little cups, holding pockets of flavorful oil that add an extra punch to every bite. It’s the kind of pizza you crave long after you’ve finished the last bite.

Aside from their famous Spicy Spring, the Prince Perfection slice is another winner. This classic cheese slice is simplicity at its finest—fresh mozzarella, their incredible tomato sauce, and a crisp-yet-chewy crust that makes every bite satisfying. If you’re more of a white pizza fan, the Broadway Breadcrumb is a unique and delicious option, topped with ricotta, mozzarella, and perfectly seasoned breadcrumbs for an added crunch.

What truly sets Prince St. Pizza apart is their attention to detail. The crust is the perfect balance of crispy and chewy, the toppings are always fresh, and each slice is crafted with care. Even though they specialize in thick-crust Sicilian slices, their dough never feels heavy—it’s light, airy, and full of flavor.

Beyond the incredible food, the service is top-notch. The staff is friendly, efficient, and clearly passionate about what they do. Even when there’s a line (which there often is—it’s that good!), they keep things moving quickly while still making sure every customer feels welcome.

The vibe of the restaurant is casual yet vibrant, making it a great spot to grab a quick bite or hang out with friends. Whether you’re a Chicago native or just visiting, Prince St. Pizza is an experience you don’t want to miss.

Simply put, this is hands-down some of the best pizza in Chicago. Whether you’re a deep-dish loyalist or a New York-style purist, one bite of Prince St. Pizza will have you coming back again and again. Do yourself a favor—stop by, grab a slice (or three), and enjoy pizza perfection. You...

This is a trash ass spot with trash ass customer service.

I placed a pick-up order at 3:40 pm through the toast tab on Super Bowl Sunday for a pick-up time at 5 pm.

I get there at 5 pm and there's a line, strictly for pick-ups, that extended outside. Some customers in line stated they placed their order the day before for pick-up and their order still wasn't ready.

Orders were literally being made on the spot when pick-up customers were able to enter the store.

I waited in line for approximately 20 minutes, in freezing temperatures, and still was nowhere near getting inside. Even if I had the patience to wait, my order would most likely not have been started until I verbally told an employee what my pickup order was.

I ended up leaving. I called the location once I got home and requested for my order to be cancelled and for a full refund. I was informed that my order was cancelled and was instructed to contact corporate or to physically come into the store another day regarding a full refund.

This prince street location lacks punctuality, logistical awareness, and quality customer service. I understand they just opened last month. But if you're going to open your location in Restaurant Row, one of the busiest places in Chicago, you better have your shit together. If you're not equipped to handle a plethora of orders, then you need to rethink how you're going about your business.

They obviously don't know what they're doing and there's a lot to be desired.

There are plenty of high quality pizza spots in Chicago that value a customer's time and money. Prince Street is not one of them.

If you're wondering why there's no rating for the food it's because I...

Their operations is atrocious. We ordered by phone on a Friday evening for pick up. They require payment when you place the order.

We showed up almost 15 minutes after our quoted pick up time. My partner went to get the pizza and I stayed in the car. The line sounded out of control. One of the customers in front of my partner had been waiting for nearly an hour. He was trying to flag down staff members but none of them were offering assistance. He even called the store number multiple times from the line to ask if he could please get our order (which has presumably long been ready) and go, and nobody answered the phone. Given the volume of customers, it is ridiculous that they don’t have a separate line for advance orders. Delivery drivers were trying to cut my partner in line — don’t be a line cutter, obviously, but I feel bad for these drivers who are probably gonna get crap from customers because the store is making everyone wait inordinate amounts of time to pick up an order that’s literally ready to go and just sitting there.

After about 20 minutes, I called the store and was able to reach someone. I explained that our order was supposed to have been ready 30 minutes ago and that my partner was in line waiting for it. This staff member was able to find our pizza and finally hand it off to my partner.

Not gonna lie, the pizza was pretty good (we got the margherita). But there are numerous reviews citing the same issue. We would consider returning only during an...
