DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TREATED WITH INCREDIBLE DISRESPECT. I was super excited to try The Foyer because of how nice and calm it looked online but I was left incredibly disappointed and doubt I will be returning anytime soon. I went around 12 on Monday and ordered an iced dirty chai almost right away and sat down to do some work. The atmosphere was super great and comfortable. I had no problems until I dealt with the incredibly rude and unprofessional woman with red glasses and brown hair/orange-ish ends working at the register. I didn't like my latte at all, it was bitter and left a not-so-pleasent after taste, I even asked both of my friends to try it and they agreed that it just wasn't any good. I drank 2 sips of it and decided that after they looked a little less busy and I finished a little more work I would ask for a replacement since I just wasn't enjoying the drink that I payed almost $10 for. I went up about an hour later and asked for replacement drink with my original drink that had barely been touched and she gave me an obscene amount of attitude telling me that because it had been an hour she couldn't replace it. I was confused and showed her that the drink was completely full, there was still ice in it, it hadn't been that long clearly. She continued to glare and give me attitude and told me she would not be replacing my drink even though the place was completely dead and she was doing absolutely nothing but standing there. What ever happened to the customer is always right? And why should the amount of time passed matter if the drink hadn't been touched and IF YOU ARE DOING NOTHING. It just felt very lazy to me. On top of that the music was playing quite loudly and obnoxiously and she refused to turn it down when someone else had asked her too. I was so excited to try this place out and honestly would have loved to come back if not for this interaction, hopefully management is willing to look into her customer service skills because it seems like she has never been trained in them or just regular manners and kindness. Paying $10 for a drink I didn't even like and then being denied a replacement after I asked in what I felt was a nice manner made my whole experience negative and gave me a bad taste in my mouth the rest of the time I tried finishing my work. If I could rate the service in the...
Read moreThe location itself is beautiful and is a great place to get work done. However when I went with a friend, we were treated very rudely. When we entered around 1pm (7 hours before closing!) we heard a manager telling a barista that the kitchen was closing and to not take any food orders. We asked if the kitchen would open later, and the barista confirmed that the kitchen would not reopen and was closed for the day. Shortly after receiving our coffees and sitting down, another guest received a sandwich from the kitchen. As we continued to work, we saw multiple other guests receiving food. I got up and asked if the kitchen was open now, but I was told that it was still closed. After I walked away from the counter, I saw a guest walk up to the same counter, place an order and pay, and receive their food after waiting for a few minutes. I'm not sure why my friend and I were the only people who could not order food, but we felt very uncomfortable and left quickly...
Read moreOrdered a hot chicken sandwich which looked nice when I took it out of the box but at the 1st bite I almost cracked my tooth! The meat was so dried up that they dipped it into a hot sauce to cover up. Only realized what they sold me after I went back to my office but when I came back later to lodge a complaint there was no one at the desk. That little sandwich costs $15 and you can’t even make sure to put a decent freshly cooked chicken in it?! Shame on you! The chef was a Latina lady with a red headband. And then they ran a Thursday sale with 6pcs of chicken for $8, first time it was great, second time both orders tasted gooey. Not going back...
