I must say, I used to love coming here especially on Tuesdays when Miesha’s working and they have karaoke so it’s fun and she makes the best drinks. Recently my group of friends switched to Piano Karaoke and the evening bartender gives you more ice than the actual drink and it’s ridiculous. When he made my first drink it was full of ice and charged 15.00 for it. Then I go back for another and said can you please use less ice and he literally serves me the same amount of drink with less ice and my cup was half full this time. Just because I said less ice doesn’t mean I want less of a drink. This is WEHO. Drinks are already expensive and why the need to be catty or offended at my request and my frustration didn’t only lie there. I tested him and sent a friend in to get the same drink and it was full and with a perfect amount of ice for him. To say I’m displeased is an understatement. No other establishment in WEHO does this so I don’t understand why he feels the need to act this way towards certain clients at the bar. Not only did I feel this way, but the rest of the group that I was with about how he made and poured drinks for all of us. Lord knows how other patrons felt but now I don’t want to go back if he’s working the bar. Even had the audacity of asking my friend who he poured a regular drink to about why his friends weren’t tipping him. He...
Read moreI am writing to provide feedback on my recent visit on Thursday night, June 27th. While I generally enjoy my experiences at your establishment, my most recent visit was disappointing and went beyond minor misunderstandings.
Upon arrival, my friend and I ordered a round of drinks. My friend requested an old fashioned, and when he asked the male bartender to add a few cherries, the bartender rolled his eyes and added only one cherry. Later in the evening, as the temperature outside dropped significantly, I noticed that none of the outdoor heaters were on. I approached the same bartender and politely asked if he could turn one on. His response, "No, it's summer right now," was delivered with noticeable attitude. When I mentioned that the temperature had dropped, he simply walked away. Thankfully, Maya, the manager, was very kind and promptly turned a few heaters on.
I understand that everyone has bad days, but the bartender's attitude was unnecessary and detracted from what is usually an enjoyable experience at your establishment. I hope you will address this matter to ensure better service...
Read moreI frequent several of the bars that are in west hollywood. I only order tito's on the rocks with a line. Every other bar I have ever been to one.Santa monica that is in the vicenity of this place, Has always poured a very generous serving. Which I appreciate. The female bartender I ordered from literally poured about one shot worth of vodka into the glass and added ice. I requested if she could pour a little more and she told me she would have to charge me extra. It was about seventy percent less than I receive at any other bar in the amount of the pour. The drink was also more expensive than any of the other bars ive ordered the same drink from along the strip of santa monica Blvd. It's a cool looking bar.But I now understand why it's usually the most empty. I don't want to go somewhere where I will have to spend $70 to get a buzz when I can go minutes down the street and get the same thing...
