Lost a Customer for Life ---- On Thursday March 20th at during the 1:53pm I went to your West Hollywood Store. I ordered the same smoothie that I did last week. Michael made it last week for me and mentioned that he added Goji berries. To be clear I had no idea that these were not included in with my smoothie. The assistant general manager a woman whose name starts with an A was beyond unfriendly had charged me for the goji berries. I explained to her that I had not been charged before. She had already run up the transaction and asked me to complete the transaction and said "I will void it.. the $19.00 She then charged me $17.00. Generally when a transaction is voided I am given a receipt that indicates this .. The Assistant general manager said she couldn't give me a receipt for this.. But I was not ok with that. And wanted to assure that I wasn't being charged for 2 smoothies. She didn't fully understand that but to be honest she was just rude about it all and could have used this help me understand your menu better etc. But she did stay professional as I grew more concerned. My complaint is not in reference to her fully. It is however very much about an African American male who was in the back working who suddenly appeared by her side and stared at me menacingly. I want to be very clear that I am WOC so I am including his race a a description and identifier. I felt beyond uncomfortable and like he was trying to intimidate me. I was trying to make sure that I was not being overcharged. And if he was listening through perhaps some surveillance he should not have treated me as such. He stood there staring at me and I asked her if he was the manager. It was bizarre and NOT OK. Once the assistant manager fully understood my concern she came around the front of the store and took the time to show me that only one transaction was registered. She did assure me that if the $19.00 appeared she would take care of it.. Again this same male went to the bathroom and was staring at me in a menacing super uncomfortable way as if he was a bouncer or security guard. No customer who is advocating to make the are paying double she be subject to his non-verbal stares and attitude. I asked the assistant general manager why was he standing there staring at me she stated that this was because he needed to ask her a question. I don't buy that.. He has no idea the nuance of the conversation and was intimidate me and frankly not cool. You all have lost a customer of life. I want to be clear that of course your staff should be treated with respect.And at no point was a threatening to her or anyone. I wanted to be sure I wasn't being charged for 2 smoothies. The male worker was out of line and beyond rude I will never return to you store...
Read moreIt’s so sad that I have to leave 1 star only because I adore and enjoy the drinks from SunLife Organics. UNFORTUNATELY the employees are not experienced or follow a strict recipe for the shakes that always taste different ( not good at all ) just like water, mostly forget important ingredients like almond butter or dates which makes the drink very special. I thought that SunLife Organics cares about the image and the care, satisfaction for their customers. You think that the employees would follow a recipe and makes the drink always good and very important the SAME!!!!!! We wasted lots of valuable time and money. I am very sad about it because I don’t want to miss my shakes here. I can say for sure that places like this will go in the ruin someday by not taking care of the quality and satisfaction for their customers. Also it’s not nice to never know if the drink will be good today or not. To much stress. The drink has to be always good and the same! I hope that a higher person here will take this SERIOUS AND MAKE SURE THAT THE ITEMS THEY SELL HAVE ALWAYS THE SAME QUALITY...

for an over the counter service, I won’t give more than 10%, and they look at you like you’re disrespecting them with such low tip. They make sure to look how much you give them, and always ALWAYS their energy shifts so negatively after you put the 10% tip. They say hello nicely, take your order pretty good, they stay looking for how much tip you give and after I tip 10% they don’t talk anymore, not even a thank you, not even a have a good day, not even an acknowledgement. And is not a one time situation or one specific worker, is ALWAYS the same (I go almost every Saturday around 12 pm). I will keep going cause I love their shakes, but damn that attitude is...
