sweetgreen - Healthy Salads, Bowls and Plates — Restaurant in West Hollywood

Unfortunately, the ONE time actually needed the great energy from sweetgreen, I was greeted by Bahari (the GM, sorry if I misspelled it)

It was the absolute most UNPLEASANT experience I’ve had since finding out what sweetgreen even was. I frequent this place at least 2x a week (my bank statements can attest) and this the was first time I’ve actually considered never coming back……. To be clear, I pay for all extras and substitutions, however the attitude and blatant disdain for me was uncomfortable to say the LEAST. She even went as far as to mention I was a regular there bc the other staff members had mentioned me….I’m sooooo sorry I made you give me extra sauce miss Bahrai, if it came out of your paycheck, I’ll reimburse personally. I don’t think I will be coming back to this location for a while if ever, it was TOO unpleasant AND STRANGE for me. She actually made me feel weird for my order LOL, for once in my life I actually considered what I ate…..so thank you for ruining my Guilty pleasure Bahari….telling me you’re the gm and you run the place was enough to never visit again. I’m not sure who SHAT in your cornflakes this morning but it surely wasn’t me, so consider that the next you decide to transfer energy to someone else. I actually lost my appetite bc of you so again, THANK you!

Still like the food, but you guys should reconsider mgmt. I’ll find a new location if I decide to patronize again. To the rest of the staff, thank you for the consistent GREAT ENERGY AND KINDNESS. I used their On-Line App to order a delicious salad - and all that was in the container was (basically) Arugula and Spinach. It was LIGHT AS A FEATHER when I lifted it up. And I had ordered tons of extra vegetables - it should have been HEAVY - like at least 1.5 lbs - of veggies. They BARELY added anything else that I ordered - just like 1-2 beets and 1-2 Chickpeas and maybe a sweet potato. I order this from other locations with no issues - but this time - they TRAINED ME to force them to make the salad in front of me in the store - because if they make it using the APP - they just use Greens - and nothing else - to barely fill the bowl. Unhappy - it was just arugula and spinach. Usually their salads are DELICIOUS - but this was just a bunch of greens! Hopefully they will not skimp on their veggies in the future. Well, I won't let them - b/c I'll NOT order using their app. By the way, I also order from Fresh Brothers down on Santa Monica BLVD - and their salads are DELICIOUS - and weigh at least 3 lbs - in the same size bowl - b/c they put all the veggies you order INTO the bowl! Honestly, I believe this is a great salad bar. The fact that the salads are made to order ensures the salad’s freshness. There are speciality salads or build your own salads as well. I tried the Autumn Cesar salad with medium dressing. The salad was immaculate and I must say that the customer service was great as well. The guy in the kitchen area was very attentive with filling the bread and the girl that attended me/prepared my salad was very knowledgeable of the menu, kind, and made me feel like a welcomed customer. I was happy with the quality of my salad, and I was happy with the service at this location. If you are having a hard time adjusting to salads, or just enjoy salads, this place offers several savory or sweet salads.
