After 2 days of experiencing the mobile app stating that my drink was ready when it's not it got me upset because I have to wait and coeordinate my schedule around this app. When I spoke to the supervisor Katie, She stated that the app was having issues and she just got off the phone with her corporate office. You can tell in her eyes that she was upset about the situation however I am a customer and I should not be able to see those kind of things. I asked her what she intends to do in regards to me being an unhappy customer because my drink has been unavailable for 2 days now resulting in me having to wait. She had a blank stare in her eyes and I had to be the one to ask for compensation for this unsatisfactory visit that I experienced. I'm in customer service myself and one of the things that I have always been taught is that when an upset customer is present this is the time and moment that you do not want other customers to see you catching an attitude with them because you have no idea what's going on. I am a very professional person and 1 of the things that I can not stand is having someone look at me with a blank stare in their face and not even apologizing for the scenario. Katie being the supervisor on shift needs help in learning more about customer service. She ended up giving me a comp card After I asked for one because of my circumstances that I've been experiencing for 2 days. She didn't even apologize or thank me for being a customer. It's like she gave it to me just because I asked for it. While she was making out the card there was another gentleman that was trying to get the attention of a person making the drink and her name was Val, Because she wasn't listening to him I went ahead and told her that this gentleman was needing to speak to someone. He thanked me as he was able to get what he needed done however Val Decided to speak under her voice and say "I am busy here making your drink". I found that remark to be unprofessional because she knew that I was already upset and all she did was throw more fuel to the fire. She called out my name and didn't even thank me when she placed my drink on the counter. I in return was the one who said thank you and she responded with you're welcome. No I contact no smile on her face no desire to work. This was my horrible experience today and I expect somebody to contact me regarding how they intend to resolve this matter in the future and avoid having upset customers...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEvery time I come to this location it's unfortunately a disappointment. Once they gave me my drink and I knew right away the color was off and as soon as I sipped it I got confirmation that it was made incorrectly. I brought it to the attention of the barista and she said "well if I remake it I'm telling you it's gonna be the same way again." Which was super rude.
Today I went and the place was dead, it's 7pm so that's to be expected. The girl gave me my frap and I said "oh wait can you please add the whipped cream?" because they neglected to put it on. She said "oh we are out" and turned around to do something else. Meanwhile I'm standing there waiting for a croissant for literally 10 minutes, and another barista makes 3 drinks and adds whipped cream to all of them. I asked if she could add some to mine and she said "well I can't add it to your drink now but I can put it on the side for you" which is understandable because it was on the customer side of the counter, but clearly my drink was sitting there untouched because I didn't want to take off my mask to drink it. The other barista finally got my croissant for me and the one who helped with the whipped cream had to be the one to apologize for the wait.
I'm telling you, this is not just a fluke. I was a super regular at this store, literally got coffee there 4 to 5 times a week before work for myself and my coworkers and every time something has been off, whether it's the drink or the customer service.
I finally decided to go out of my way to another location and they are so nice, the drinks are always perfect, and they remember my name when I walk in in the morning. CUSTOMER SERVICE is KEY! Palm beach lakes needs to take some lessons from the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visited the Starbucks at the Tanger Outlets today so that my mom could get her birthday drink. My mom (82) went inside and proceeded to tell them it was her birthday and asked for a drink. They asked her if she had the app but she said no. They said she needed the app (knowing that the app takes a few months to sign you up for your birthday gift and they didn't tell her it would take that long.) She asked for help and the manager, Crystal, gave absolutely no help. She also didn't tell her that the birthday gift reward isn't available right away. She came back out to the car and I helped her download the app and put her birthdate in there. Of course, the gift wasn't showing up. So I went inside with my mother and was irate with the worker who looked like a deer in headlights. The manager came over and proceeded to try and place the blame on my mother. I told her that I had downloaded the app and placed her birthdate in it and nothing was available to her. She said that is not available for a few months. Even though she could have given her a manager's courtesy and done it for her she still wouldn't do it. I said to my mom, "let's go to a different one." She agreed. I will never go to that Starbucks again because of Crystal and how she treated my mother. Never before have I encountered such a nasty person at Starbucks. Crystal is not adhering to the Starbucks corporation policy on customer service. She should...
