Ferraros in Westfield, NJ was very accommodating. We did not have a reservation but we were seated right in time to beat the dinner crowd. The food was excellent, one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. Service was very good and attentive to our needs. Staff was friendly and place was hustling filled with crowd. We started with fried calamari, muscles in white clam sauce, and their delicious meatball appetizers. Yum!! Our entrees were filet of sole francese, chicken parmigiana, chicken margarita and sausage fusilli. Wow all amazing dishes!! I know I tasted all of my families dish (lol!) Finally came the dessert - ordered hot apple pie ala mode, chocolate volcano, and espresso gelato..delish!! Full to the max but very satisfied! I included pictures but it doesn't do justice. Try the place and you won't be sorry, they've only been there 50 yrs.

Extended family gathering, we had the third floor to ourselves for lunch. Elevators up and clean bathrooms on this level. Open room with cloth covered tables, a bar on one side and one wall mirrored to give impression of more room. At each dining spot was a printed three course meal. Salad took about half an hour to arrive, table communal bread/butter consumed and not refilled. Full formal dining flatware set; server did not take salad fork when salad plate removed, actually took it from plate and put it back on table. I’m on crutches and table service did not offer to get me a bar drink, or anything other than the water that was already at table. Pasta dish was an hour behind the salad, it was tasty. Never got to main course, I had a plane to catch. Was in the restaurant for over two hours without all three courses served in that time.

First time dining @ Ferraro's w/old friends. Friendly greetings, cozy feel, serving traditional Italian fare. Its a big place that was really crowded, so you Know food is good! I tried Chicken Margarita, w/eggplant & mozzarella that comes with a side of ziti. Food was tasty & traditional, but, I found the curved bowl it was served in, a bit difficult to handle. Food could have been warmer and Salad was Not included. Portions were not huge, but adequate. My husband enjoyed Chicken parm, which he made disappear in moments. Another friend had Shrimp scampi which looked very yummy. Another tried lasagna; another spaghetti Bolognese. All were good. Dessert of tramusui, tortuffo, & molten chocolate dessert were all yummy too! Friendly, professional staff, so, we certainly will return again for another enjoyable evening meal! 🙋☕😜

Absolutely Beautiful establishment, I've dined around the area plenty and have been enticed to experience the service and quality of such a beautiful exterior. Figured that such beauty comes with a price hence I would wait for the perfect occasion. Well the interior is pleasant to the eye and the menu is meant to satisfy plenty. While not an intense menu, just the right amount of items. I have to say that their bean soup is a Must have. Service!........., This is my Ice Breaker! As our waiter greeted us I informed him that this was our First time there and obviously we were excited to be there. He on the other hand looked at us with What may I offer you to drink? My wife Questioned the waiter in regards to the sides, of the special of the day and he quickly responded; Well you can always have our regular menu item which by the way was cooked differently. It seems commonplace to serve everyone bottled water of which I truly applaud but such service is served at room temperature and if you care for ice or lemon with your water, you have to ask for it. Furthermore, instead of the waiter serving the water, the guest have to serve their own water defeating the purpose of service. Although I truly enjoyed the bean soup, it took a good 20-25 minutes to get. At a given point I had sworn that they forgot about the soup. Needless to say while I was enjoying my bean soup, my entree must have been sitting under the heater as when I received my entree it was completely dry. I am a wine enthusiast but wasn't impressed with their selection and our waiter wasn't much help either. Most of their Good wines I have at home already and while I consider buying a glass of I was discouraged by the fact that I would be paying for the price of the bottle. They do have an Italian House wine that upon a Google search I was enticed to order a glass. I've rarely leave behind wine but this felt so watered down that I didn't have a choice. Aside from the appeal of the restaurant, I can appreciate the distancing they offer between the tables and for the foremost part the constant disinfectant of them. Also appreciated the clean, friendly and professional attire from the wait staff, although our waiter must of not liked us. Masking among the wait staff was consistent, unfortunately I can't say same with management as it was obvious that they in turn had no interest on such. Lastly, truly disappointed that while the presence of management was obvious, never once were we approached by them in any shape or form from the very entrance to our exit. Needless to say, my first and last. Talk about looks...

We had 4 people in our party. 2 people ordered steak with mashed and broccoli. The potatoes and broccoli came out extremely cold. They took the sides back only to heat them in the microwave. After that the potatoes were extremely dry. One of the steaks was medium and one was well. They "butterflied" the well and forgot to give the top half. The circumference was almost identical to the medium, however, it was less than half the thickness. I understand that some will burn off when it is well done, but not half of it. This is the excuse they used. They cut the meat in half. When you are paying this much for steak, at least give the promised weight. This was well over $40 per plate and very disappointing. 2 of us had the the pasta with lobster tail, mussels, clams and calamari. The lobster was extremely overcooked and was very tough. The fra diavolo flavor was pleasant, but it only covered about 1/4 of the linguini. 3/4 of the linguini was completely dry. For $52 this is quite unacceptable. If you use a credit card to pay, they charge you more money. This used to be my favorite Italian restaurant, but it haven't been here since covid hit. It seems like they decided to save on quality in order to make more money. Please go back to the way you used to be, customers will be much happier. If this was my first visit I would have gave it less stars, but I am hoping this is an off day because most of my other visits have been pleasant. Either way, I was disappointed with...

I chose this family run business for a very important occasion and had a total of about 125 guests. I was reassured that we would have no issues with the number of people attending and that the banquet hall and staff would be able to accommodate us. However, despite paying this establishment IN CASH PRIOR TO EVENT, as requested (which included gratuity) - WE RECEIVED HORRIBLE SERVICE! My guests waited about an hour for the main entree to be served. The staff and owner were all lacking professionalism and under-delivered. Trays of food were dropped on the floor several times. Servers did not offer all food choices and drinks to guest. Etc. I highly recommend they re-educate and train staff for events and only accept parties with the number of people they are capable of handling! As much as the third floor is a beautiful private space which should be able to deliver service that is up to par, THE OWNER IS THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE and was not even apologetic with regards their failure to provide top notch service to myself, my family and the rest of my guests! DO NOT COME HERE FOR PRIVATE PARTIES OR EVENTS. Despite my complaints, concerns and issues, the owner called me back after 4 days with no remorse, spoke in a defensive and aggressive manner, raised his voice and did not give me full compensation! This is completely unacceptable behavior and I hope no one ever goes through what I had to...
