The Baked Bear — Restaurant in Westfield

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the best dessert shops in Westfield — The Baked Bear is my new go-to for warm cookies and ice cream after a long library article writing day.

The staff were so kind and patient, walking me through every option. I built my own dream sandwich — two soft, warm cookies with their seasonal ice cream — and the flavor was pure joy. Everything tasted clean, rich, and full of real ingredients (they even mentioned home baked recipes for cookies, ice cream and no artificial dyes 🙌🏾).

The shop itself feels bright and welcoming, right in downtown Westfield with easy parking nearby. StaffTip: ask them to warm your cookies — it makes the ice cream melt just right.

I just found out they’re on Too Good To Go, so next time I’m grabbing a sustainable surprise bag!

My experience was amazing!!! My fiancé and I were assisted by Jacob and he was awesome. It was our 1st time there and we couldn’t make up our minds. So he began with telling us all about the best combos and then asked what our taste preference was and even let us sample some of the flavors. The ice cream was delicious. Now it was almost impossible to choose a flavor combo…lol He than explained all about the products used and about the cows that were used, including how they are fed and kept, etc…. He was super knowledgeable and had no problem sharing this knowledge with us. We finally made up our minds and was NOT disappointed at all. This place will definitely be our go to spot for ice cream from here forward....

From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with the sweet aroma of freshly baked cookies and the smiling faces of the incredible staff. Posing a challenge to Damien, Jocelyn, Jessica, and Franco I asked for 2 ice cream sandwiches with no instructions other than make them fantastic...and that they did! The team assembled flavor combinations of blue cake batter and blackberry crumble ice cream on freshly baked cookies with sprinkles, whipped cream, and love. The passion for the craft shines through and The Baked Bear has instantly become the type of modern classic that features prominently in the fond memories of anyone...
