McDonald's — Restaurant in Westlake

Terrible service and the Manager has a nasty attitude. went there on a Saturday morning and when I saw two vehicles had already been parked by the drive-thru line, I should have just left. Placed my order, sausage biscuit meal, on the kiosk and waited 15 minutes while watching other get their orders. Finally, a gentleman calls my number and hands me my food and I ask him for my orange juice. He says, what, and I tell him I ordered a meal with an orange juice. he says, oh, that's coming right up. I wait another 5 minutes and finally the manager, Nicole M., walks by and asks what I am waiting for. I told her I just wanted my OJ so I could leave and she says, what size? I asked, does it really matter, I've been waiting a long time and will take any OJ. At this point, instead of apologizing, she "explains" to me that they have a new staff and I need to relax. I then explained to her that I am the customer and that's no way to talk to someone who is clearly frustrated with their lack of service. She remained indignant, even after I asked her name and said I would be complaining about this. As I walked outside the two cars that were parked when I went inside were still sitting there and we all exchanged stories about how bad the service is here. One of the customers was only waiting on a large coffee and he immediately went inside to see what's up. I hope he got a better reception than I did. This location is consistently trash. I live closeby and resort to McDonald’s for a quick meal on a regular basis. So much so, that I’ve become familiar with the employees as they have with me… So I knew better than going to this location 8 minutes before closed on 3/15. I ordered a medium drink and a fry, trying to be conscientious of the fact that they were trying to close and I didn’t want them to have to cook anything major. I knew something was up when I paid for my food and the manager/ cashier at the time had a smile that was suspiciously happy and didn’t say you’re welcome after I said thank you for taking my money. She was smiling when she handed me my drink and food and it was the same creepy she had when she took my order. She gave me a small drink instead of the medium that I paid for. The french fries, which I had already expected (and was fine with) to have been sitting on the fryer for hours… we’re cold, but wet with a cold liquid and left a chemical burning taste on my tongue. I suspect out of spite for going to this location so close to the time they closed, they contaminated my food with cleaning chemicals. It’s been 15 minutes and the burning in my mouth is gone but my stomach isn’t right still. Should’ve just gone to Wendy’s...

I have to start by saying this was the prettiest McDonald’s® I have seen. I like the deep tones on the walls, and unfortunately I am not a photographer but the booth was at an angle that was really comfortable. I had never heard of a quarter- pounder-deluxe. I know for a fact the calories are at zero when you add lettuce and tomatoes LOLOL!

Now here is the hard part, I like to give good reviews but there are two complaints about this establishment. We were on a road trip so we followed the signs on the highway indicating there was a McDonald’s® at the next exit, there was another sign with an arrow indicating to turn left as we exited the freeway. But (and I could have missed it) there was no indication after that. You have to turn onto another street to get to them. I believe if they had the high yellow arches in the sky, they would be easier to spot. We drove about ½ mile straight, then we did a U-turn and saw this particular McDonald’s® on the way back to the freeway. The second was the amount of time I saw customers wait for their food. We got ours pretty fast though. I have to say I think the clerk was in training. But there was no trainer so I’m not sure what the...
