Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory — Restaurant in Westminster

Went to get a goodie with my family yesterday for my mom’s and sister’s birthdays, and totally appalled by how one of the female staff members treated my mother. We picked out our treats, and then my mom went to go pay. The girl behind the counter spoke so quickly that none out of the 4 of us, especially my mother, could understand her. So my mom asked her to slow down a little bit and repeat the instructions for the pin pad. Mind you, she did not ask her to slow down in a rude way or anything! When I tell you, the STANK EYE she gave my mother, made me and my sister’s blood boil. That was BEYOND rude and disrespectful! And then once my sister and I piped up and called her out for her behavior, she scurried to the back and refused to make eye contact with either of us. She wasn’t wearing a name tag so I didn’t get her name, but she was short, had short dark hair, had a tan complexion and was wearing glasses. Overall, the food is always 10/10- never had a bad experience with the food. But the attitude and the disrespect is something I simply don’t understand why it was necessary from her. We’ll just go to a different location next time.

Edit: The owner Mackenzie emailed me after I had reached out to her regarding this situation. She was extremely professional, caring, and genuinely wanted to make it right after what happened. I wanted to change this review because she sincerely wants her patrons to have the best customer experience when visiting her business, and I also don’t want this to take away from the success she is already having. I loved coming here! However, your customer service is trashy. The girl who’ve I’ve been seeing all over these reviews has a problem working in fast paced environments. This isn’t the first time, but I cut her some slack. There was a lot of people the first time I came here and thought she was just overwhelmed. The second time I came however, she was extremely rude, obviously there was some overwhelming feelings when my sister told her the apple was wrong, either she didn’t hear us or was just nervous getting everything together. Anyways, my sister goes up and VERY respectfully (because we can tell she’s upset) explains it’s the wrong apple. She grabs the bag tosses it and tosses the right apple on the counter we looked at each other out of confusion and just leave. My problem is this isn’t the first time she’s acted this way and I think if it bothers her she needs to quit taking the shifts alone because she knows there’s BUSINESS in the area🤷‍♀️ clearly I’m not the first person this happened to and obviously won’t be the last. The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is a store we always look forward to going into however, this store was very rough this evening. To start with the young guy that was working in the store was REALLY rude and unprofessional. At first I thought I did something wrong when I asked him to please put our selected chocolate into separate bags as there were three of us choosing different items. His body language and behavior made it very clear that he was not happy about being asked to do this. ( there was also a couple behind us that was dealing with the same attitude as we did from this guy so I know it wasn’t just me) I also asked for a Carmel apple and to please slice it, which he did however, how did he miss the large brown section in the middle of the apple, I saw it as soon as I pulled it out of the bag as the apple fell open where he sliced it.
