If I could give it a -0 I would. I am just able to write this review because of my honeymoon. I ordered a mini wedding cake for my wedding. My wedding was a month ago, and I ordered it maybe a month or so before. I spent almost 60 bucks for the most dry, overly dyed, ugly cake. I gave this woman a picture, I spoke to her about the description and color and it still came out horrid. When we picked it up I immediately said that's not what I wanted. My wedding was the NEXT day so....it was not the ugliest but I said it's fine, I will take it. My mother even wanted to buy some baked goods from her anyway. Even after the dissatisfaction. She gave us the two items for free, which she did not have to (no one asked). No one was upset, until she opened her mouth! She told me if I did not like it, she could sell it to someone else! A cake I ALREADY paid for! No offer to REFUND, just sell my cake because she got in her feelings! She stated that she did not know what I wanted, we don't do fake cakes...I asked her could she do a design (that she did all over the cake) at the bottom like a skirt, and have the rest of the tall cake white. Not rocket science. My mother's presence is the ONLY reason I did not flip after that comment. Back to the dryness....she said she can do dairy free. I was happy and asked her if she used almond milk or something she said yes. I believed she used water only. Worst ever will never ever be back and I told EVERYONE. I know of four weddings that were happing after mine. They were huge wedding orders, I told them nope, go to this bakery I know in Chicago. I should have just made my own cake. The restaurant had better cake anyway......You need to be exposed...I have all the TEXT MESSAGES and EMAIL to prove our discussion.....Once again you did what you wanted to do.....Not once did I become irrate with you!.....I let it go and you were SEVERELY RUDE.....I have more professionality than you.....You even had the audacity to text my phone after this review!....You know what you did....Now I am taking action......By the way if your goods were so "delicious" Why do you have so many reviews of dry, tasteless, reviews??? PEOPLE PLEASE READ REVIEWS FIRST AND BELIEVE THEM! DO NOT...

I called the store hoping to see if by chance they had a gluten free valentines heart-shaped cookie without frosting. Reason being, I was informed last minute that my gluten-free son would be decorating wheat based valentines cookies in school. Determined to find a cookie he could decorate and actually eat, Sweet Natalie’s was my only hope. I wasn’t able to reach anyone; however, the owner, Natalie, called me right back. She happened to have a couple extra cookies from a larger order that was recently placed! I told her the situation, and even though the store wasn’t even open yet, she kindly offered to meet me there in 15 minutes to to allow purchase the cookies. This is the best customer service experience I ever had! When I showed up at my son’s school, just in the Knick of time, with a huge gluten free cookie to decorate with his school buddies, his face lit up. My son gave me a huge squeeze and said, “Mama, is the cookie heart-shaped like everyone’s else’s?” I proudly, and gratefully said, “You bet!” Natalie saved the day, and I am truly thankful and blown away by...
Read moreI was trying to give this place a second and third chance. But a year ago, I ordered my daughter a vegan birthday cake. The day I picked it up, i was EXTREMELY underwhelmed by the presentation but had no one option since I did not have a backup plan. I was charged $15 for a cardboard cutout of the "toy" that was supposed to be on the cake. I called back to ask about this and was told "that is all I could find" I would have MUCH rather bought it myself or else not been charged $15 for a piece of paper. I was given a store credit of $15 but no apology. ADDIONTALLY, the cake the THE WORST cake I have ever eaten. No one could even eat it, it was that terrible. If I had to compare it to something, it would be non edible or cardboard. I recently decided to give it another try ( I don't know why ) but i called and asked about ordering a small vegan cake so I could try it out again before placing an order. I was treated like I was asking a dumb question and was told to come in and buy a small piece of cake because it is made the same way. This place is not worth it, I really wish it was but it is not and the owner is not...
