Can we move from the tent to a table inside? YES, NO PROBLEM! Met a buddy for lunch today with the intention of sitting in the tent. We ordered coffee and in the mere 60 seconds it took so get it, we changed our minds. It's a balancing act for restaurants to get a blend of safety (enough open air) and comfort (warmth from heaters), and, based on a quick chat with a host, one that EHC tries to calculate each day as the weather fluctuates. Nice to know that they're actively paying attention to something that could slip past the attention of a busy restaurant! Our server showed us to a comfy table inside; coffees were transferred without a hitch. I've been a server for several years and though small to a guest, a seating change can be frustrating for servers, particularly if your section is outside (i.e., less busy = income takes a hit). I mention that to give the staff props for having a good attitude while being flexible. Well done! I'm on a short-term prescription diet and my server, Jacqueline, was well capable of fielding all of my questions regarding ingredients and preparation. With that said, I can't wait until I can go back to eating any and everything off the menu because EHC consistently has the best seasonal specials. I'll be coming back for their praline coffee and cinnamon-pecan pancakes with a side of their amazing bacon. Thanks, EHC, for being accommodating, warm, friendly and having...

My family is Gluten Free, my wife is Celiac. We got there early at 7am, not busy. For last day of school celebration as a family. We asked for gluten free menus, told the server we were all gluten free. My wife and daughter ordered 1st followed by me. As coincidence my wife and I ordered the same thing. Upon my order said GF meal name and wife said your getting the same thing, I agreed.
Upon arrival my wife and daughters order were correct and mine was wrong. They gave me a random gluten meal, which I promptly sent back. 10 minutes later they came back with the right meal but missing a side. Since we had to be at the sitter at 8 had no time to wait another 10 minutes for a side.
Upon checkout, the cashier asked of everything was OK and I said no. There was no Interest in remedies for my unhappiness. Only in a hurry to get me out. I am glad it was me who got sick and not my wife. She can be wiped out for days. I had to hurry to the bathroom.
To get sick at a not busy place, Celiac BEWARE! Go somewhere better like...
Read moreDon't usually post reviews. We ordered two orders of french toast plus potatoes, eggs and sausages. My friend mentioned the french toast had a weird taste but couldn't describe it. After eating most of my french toast, I experienced the same weird taste. I would describe it as a strong pungent plastic, metal and/or cleaning chemical that left an extremely bitter taste. I don't know what the substance was but definitely something customers should not ingest. I told the manager i was not looking for a free meal but concerned there was a cross contamination issue as I work in the food / pharma industry. The manager indicated the french toast is prepared on the same grill as the hamburgers so it could be grease. The manager comped the french toast but we ended up with a $30 bill due to sides and drinks. The server was amazing and indicated a previous customer recently complained about the weird taste of the french toast. Sooo there's appears to be an issue in the kitchen that needs to be addressed asap. Needless to say we...
