We had to wait almost 10 minutes to be seated, but they really weren't busy...it was 9:45pm on a Sunday night. Next we had been seated almost 10 minutes when we asked a young man who was busing tables if he could get out waiter/waitress for us...to which he replied, "Did you seat yourselves?" To which we responded, "No. If you don't know who it is or its to much trouble that's fine." Waiter shows up to take our order, just assumes we are a family...I was out with my daughter and a guy friend...I don't eat out often as a single mom so didn't know at that point I needed to ask for separate tickets...takes our drink orders comes back and then takes our food order. When my daughter's pancake comes it has whipped cream on top to which I say, "I'm sorry but we didn't order the whipped cream on top, my daughter is lactose intolerant." To which he replies a little exasperated, "Just so you know any child's order that comes with fruit usually comes with whipped topping, but I'll have them fix it." Then he only checks on us once, halfway through the meal, at which time I order my daughter another piece of sausage and another piece of bacon. He now has 3 more tables in our section. Whereas when we were first seated we were the only one he had... He brings the ticket, I ask for boxes. He brings them and then my friend leaves a tip on the table, which I know the waiter sees b/c I see him glance over at it as we are leaving! At the checkout we find out our waiter has to come up and split the check and we apologize. Then when he hands me back the change he literally gives me 6 ones from the $11 he owes me. My daughter who is pretty observant asked, "Mom why did he give you so many ones?" To which I reply, in front of him, "I guess he feels he needs a bigger tip." To which he just looks at me and shuts the cash drawer and helps my friend. I would like to state here we had left a $4.50 tip. My daughter ate free and our bill together totalled just over $17...and with the service we received...this was still around 30%!! But it wasn't enough??!! I may or may not go back to this IHOP. However, if I do, I will certainly be telling them in advance our service wasn't the best the last time we were here and see...
Read moreOn 09/04/2022, 5 am. me and my girlfriend decided come to this ihop to get some breakfast… NEVER AGAIN. When we showed up, we had to wait to be seated although there was only 1 other customer in the resteraunt. Once we wer seated, we could hear every personal conversation, the profanity and stuff that should not be heard by customers, for example, one employee asking another employee if that individual has a plug as the one this individual had, went to jail… thats just one of their conversations. Manager has no control over the staff, he would tell them to do something, and they just didnt do it. Floors wer filthy, tables not so clean, walls need cleaned. When we finally ordered our food, we waited aproximately 30min for 2 omelette’s and 2 orders of new york cheesecake. We could hear the waitress tell the cook to just pour some cheese on the omelette because she didnt know what i meant when i asked for extra cheese (the omelette comes with cheese) and also told the cook that he didnt do a bad job at the cooking, after we heard him admit that he messed up cooking one of the omelettes, she told him its fine, as a customer that is never anything i want to hear. While waiting for the food, one of the employees assigned to sweeping, was playing with the broom, for exaple pretending it was a lightsaber. Also while waiting for our food, we recieved a complimentary dance show from an employee who looked at us while dancing outside infront of a window…. So our food finally arives… omelettes not looking so appetizing, but wer edible. The new york cheesecakes on the other hand wer definitely undercooked. The middle on each pancake was all uncooked batter. Needless to say, we did not eat them, but we did recieve 20% off our tab. Until management gets control their staff, I recommend going to mcdonalds for food, you’ll definitely get better customer service and fully...
Read moreReally bad service, took about 25min before order was taken. After that, she waited 8min before entering the order to the kitchen. So food came about an hour after getting to the table. Failed to bring out condiments after being asked three times, had to have a different server help for everything. I tried to ask a question about something on the menu and got told "I don't know what it is" with no other explanation or anything. But then, after ignoring us for an hour, we get asked 6 times if we're doing ok before the food even comes out. But then what do you know, food comes out and we're back to being ignored. Absolutely somebody that feels entitled to money without having to earn it. My wife has been serving for years, you have to show the guest more respect than that. And then to top it all off, I asked for a to-go cup and after waiting 5min the server comes back with nothing and asks us to pay. Of course she was told we will pay after we get our drinks, after doing nothing else it's the least we could get. Finally we get our drinks, we pay in cash and leave it on the table with the receipt. As we're leaving, the server approaches us at our vehicle and says that we did not pay. We tell her she's wrong, there is cash on the table. So she switches up and says "oh well I mean you have to sign, because sometimes people don't pay so now they make everybody sign a receipt" yeah ok nice attempt to recover yourself. Lo and behold after going back inside, the server didn't even check the table for the money before accusing us of not paying. That tells me that she was conscious of the fact that she gave us horrible service. Hire better people, because someone like that shouldn't be serving. You'll lose money every time she has a table. And I won't say any names, but talk to your staff and I bet she will...
