Been going to this place almost daily for several years. Always order the same thing (#4 no tomato) and often they start making it for me as I walk in the door. The quality is extremely consistent and I have always found them to be very very friendly here.
The last time I was there (last Wednesday) there was a new employee (new to me anyway) at the register, extremely friendly and helpful, and I think he got discombobulated a bit when the guy that knows me well made my sandwich as I was walking in and put it on the counter when we were in the process of my paying. I took the card out when it said "approved" and the guy said that it must not have gone through because the receipt didn't print out, could I please run it again. I told him that it said it had been approved, but no big deal, I ran it again and the receipt printed out. I sat down and checked my credit union checking account and it showed that two charges of $10.95 just went through. I took it back and showed him. He was extremely helpful but he said he had to go back and talk to the manager. (She has always been extremely friendly, always says hi, and smiles at me whenever I go in.) I was sure she'd take care of it.
He came back to my table a minute later and said that she told him only one charge had gone through, but to give the bank a few days and I could always come back and get a refund. (He was very apologetic about this.) This response kind of surprised me, since I had clearly shown him (and he relayed it to Melissa) that two charges had just appeared in my checking account.

Read moreI have ordered from this particular Jimmy John's location for the past couple of years. In that amount of time, my order has been wrong at least over 20 times. Today I ordered online; a turkey tom w/ no cucumbers or tomatoes, and add cheese. When I got my order, my sandwich had ONLY cheese on it. I called the store and told them what had happened and they immediately brought me out the correct sandwich. I bit into my sandwich and guess what! Wrong sandwich, yet again! It is always something with this store. They either forget to deliver the drinks, bring the wrong drink, make the wrong sandwich, etc. I understand that sometimes people make mistakes. However, after multiple times of informing the managers of my experience, NOTHING CHANGES! The manager I spoke to today did not apologize or even say anything for that matter! He was just silent on the phone. I am frustrated because I love Jimmy John's but now I have to go out of my way if I want to eat there because the one closest by my house can't make a damn sandwich or take a simple order! Read moreSo I never had Jimmy John's before a couple months ago, honestly I was a die hard subway fan from it being the only sandwich place near Augusta. After moving to town they have done nothing but get every single order correct and delivered in a timely manner. I've work in food, serving and delivery, and it is not fun or exciting work but I don't have a single complaint about the staff. They smile and they are currently working and making our food, you don't have to like the way they look or act but respect them for trying.
I would suggest however that you use the app to remove any issue of human error. You then only leave one person to read a screen, I assume, and create it. Easy, done, 15 minutes max. It's 8/10 ordering...
