Rock Island Live — Restaurant in Wichita

The club's interior was just as hot as it was outside. Had to be 80 degrees plus. I don't understand venues that keeps their doors open with NO AIR conditioning on when it is that hot out. You add hundreds of people moving around and now it's 95 in the room. Not impressed with the look of the space either. It clearly hasn't been updated in quite some time. The space is always way too crowded as well, as if they don't pay attention to their capacity. I try every club at least a few times, but I now know I will not...

Music mixing is terrible. It be better to have Spotify on shuffle. The main dance floor is too bright, and empty on a Saturday night. Drink service was good, but the service charge is crazy for what they have. They won't let people in if they are wearing sport jerseys( but the dj/security can wear whatever they want ) they'll let you wear a hat but will make you turn the hat towards. This place has friendly staff, great drink specials, and good entertainment. It's the best bar I've found so far since moving to Wichita. The crowd here is very diverse and I like that too. Also, Ashley is my favorite bartender in Wichita so there's that. Wichita is full of great bars but this is the jewel in its crown. If you drink here, you're bound to drink here again. And again....
