Easily the best breakfast on the Wildwood islands. We were more than pleasantly surprised with how good all the food was! I got the crab benny and the eggs were perfect and there was a generous portion of large lump crab meat. My wife ordered the pork belly bowl and wow! First the eggs were beautiful (when is the last time you read an egg review that described them that way?) But I mean they were -- a picture-perfect sunny side up duo! And the pork belly was stunning -- way better than anything I would have hoped for or expected. It had a delicious smoky flavor, it was seasoned to perfection, and it had an amazing crispy exterior. It was better than all the local BBQ places can muster and the Reef doesn't even advertise itself as such. The final touch was how excellent the home fries were. Unlike most breakfast potatoes that are boiled and browned on the grill and have no flavor -- these were cooked with a hint of onion, butter and seasoning. The do get very busy and the kitchen can fall behind -- but the Reef is the rare case when it is more than worth the wait because of how good the results are. Strongly recommend!

Went here with a large group last weekend and sat outside. It’s a great spot for enjoying the waves crash and a solid breakfast menu. I had the Buffalo Chicken Benny purely because I had never heard of anything like that. The chicken was lightly breaded and eggs were done wonderfully. Hot coffee and great service, would definitely go back to explore more of the menu as it all sounded great! Several in our crew had the pork belly hash and thoroughly enjoyed it.

My husband and I were staying at The Adventurer, so we had breakfast here our first morning. It was great! I remember the old Adventurer Pancake House (yikes!), so this new upgrade is a huge win. The Reef Omelette was amazing! Lots of crab and a great hollandaise. Service was great and how can you beat breakfast with a beach view?

Major upgrade to the last restaurant who owned or ran in this same space at The Adventurer. Remodel looks amazing with views of the beach and ocean. It took a moment for the three young ladies behind the register area to acknowledge my wife and I waiting to be seated. No big deal overall as they called over to give us instructions to seat ourselves wherever we liked. Our food order was promptly taken with the restaurant being about a quarter full. We had arrived sometime between 7:30 and 8:00. Ticket time wasn't long and the food was good. Once again, huge improvements from the last business. If I had to nitpick, I'd butter the toast before it arrives to the table instead of the mostly melted containers butter comes in. Also, freshly squeezed orange juice would go a long way over juice from a gallon store bought container. I do question the choice of the rather loud blues music being played inside the dining area. Doesn't fit the theme of the restaurant and requires you to raise your voice to communicate with others at your table. Service was quick with a smile. Checkout process was smooth. We would come back and save ourselves a drive to another...

No wait time! Just had a good breakfast at The Reef—and I recommend it. I’m told it’s a new restaurant for 2025 (new owner) so maybe people don’t know about this place yet, no waiting like everyone else on the island. The breakfast-lunch menu had a lot of options, decent prices. The Reef is kinda hidden, located on the ground floor of Adventurer hotel with access right off the boardwalk-bike path (or enter thru front of hotel like I did and walk down hall to restaurant.) Great view of the ocean while you eat. Lots of indoor tables and also outdoor seating on a covered patio. I had friendly & accommodating table service. Fast food delivery. Great...
