Wagon Wheel Steak House — Restaurant in Wildwood

I never walked out of or complained about a restaurant or food in my life. Save yourself. We waited a half hour with barely any patrons in there which I was ok with- not everyone is quick and it happens. They brought bread with no plates lol- bad idea with kids. After a half hour they brought out one kids meal and a lousy appetizer. Our other child and both of us still waited quite a while. Later on the other kids meal came out. We kept waiting, another 20 minutes at least for our meals- it seemed like something was wrong- and then we cancelled our food and left. I asked for something to pack up the kids meals and the waitress never came back. I finally got mad and walked upfront, paid and left. They have zero restaurant experience. The place looks like a joke inside but we figured we would try it anyway. Its also a bit pricey For the super cheesy atmosphere. No one ever apologized or ever came to the table to say the food would be out- you just sit there forgotten. It's kind of funny really but dont waste a dinner at the shore here. It's more of a cheap looking breakfast joint. Maybe they are better at that. I would give zero stars but you have to leave...

Please reconsider when visiting this place. I went for the weekend with my family and decided to give this place a try. Well their website is incorrect hours stated it was open at 4pm and we got there and place was empty and then the "chef" looking dirty as could be came out to say the potato was not ready cause they open at 4:30. We chose to stay to give them a chance but all went downhill once all the food came out. I got the flounder which smelt so SPOILED AND ROTTEN it ruined everyones appetite. My mother got "medium rare" steak and her steak did not come out that way came out almost well done, but my husband ordered medium well and got a rare steak. My son got a cheeseburger that was burnt as hell and it was only a cheeseburger no sides they up charge for extra but every other meal comes with fries. The broccoli that comes with the meals was hard as a rock. The 2 waitresses SAT DOWN most of the time staring consistently at us which was very uncomfortable. Please save your time before you end up with food poisoning since they serving spoiled food. $140 they got that went down the drain for us since nobody ate really cause of the smell...

Don't let the steak and seafood title fool you. It was good but not what I expected. I was under the impression it was a nicer sit down restaurant but it was very casual. At 5 pm there was only one other family there. Our server was very friendly and efficient. I got unsweetened iced tea but I did not like the flavor. I got filet mignon. It was prepared properly but I didn't think it was the highest quality. My husband said he'd give the shrimp & lobster 4 stars. Overall it was good...
