Serpico Pizza — Restaurant in Wilkes-Barre Township

I’m not sure how to frame this except I got indigestion. Not mild hmm “what’s dis?” indigestion, I mean owww why is my stomach GROANING indigestion. I first noticed the Harvey’s Lake sized grease puddle on my pizza when I opened it at the store for a quick check. It was even bigger when I got it home 10 minutes later. GREASY PIZZA MEANS CHEAP CHEESE. That’s why my belly is upset. Never get a stomach ache from other pizza joints around town. Something is wrong here, and it’s cheap ingredients and greasy oily pizza. Although I heard a lot about this place, my first time eating here. I came in around 12:45pm, it was pretty busy. I ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich and a garden salad with balsamic dressing. I asked the girl that took my order to please leave my sandwich in the oven a bit longer, I like it extant toasted. She must not have relayed the message to the cook, my sandwich was soggy and not enough marinara sauce to really impact the sandwich. Out shopping in Wilkes Barre area. We wanted a little something to eat to hold us over until dinner when we spotted the pizzeria when exiting the Gabe's. When sent in to sit a minute and grab a bite. I got the tomato 🍅 basil and my friend s slice 🍕 of cheese with can beverages. The slices did not disappoint they both were excellent the only reason we didn't get another is it would have been out of greed not out of hunger!
