El Diablo Burritos — Restaurant in Wilmington

This was my 5th time visiting and I've never had a bad experience until yesterday. I ordered two burritos. The food did not taste fresh at all!! The mushrooms had a funny taste. The corn and black beans tasted stale. I always tip when I check out because the people there are always so sweet. Yesterday there were people serving that I had never seen serve before (usually a nice young lady is there). The woman was rushing me and giving bad looks because I was trying to take my time deciding what ingredients to add. There was no one else there in the entire restaurant so it's not like she had to rush me to take care of other people waiting in line. Even though my other experiences have been good, I don't know if those other young ladies aren't there anymore, but the bad service and the bad tasting food makes me no longer recommend my clients there again! Disgrace of an establishment, extremely rude customer service. I went to Trolly Sq. location for lunch and paid for a bag of chips, however it was not in my bag, by the time I realized, I was closer to market st. location.. so I figured I’d go there and get my chips, I tried to call ahead to explain situation, but no answer, when I arrived.. they would not give me the chips because I didn’t have my receipt. When I checked out at Trolly Sq. I selected, no receipt. I said I would show them the amount I paid on my phone credit card app, but they would not accept. No chips. What a joke. A normal place would have said here you go, sorry about that, no questions asked.. wasted my whole break trying to retrieve these chips. What a joke. You guys make so many chips and can’t give me a bag after the other location made a mistake....

I had jury duty and this is short walk from the course house and it was my favorite part about jury duty. I hate to compare it to chipotle but it’s like what chipotle should be with fresh and better ingredients and fantastic service. They have the cane sugar fountain sodas which was an added plus! I ordered a burrito bowl and it was huge! They did not skip on meat or anything I asked for. The manga salsa was fantastic! This is definitely worth stopping by.
