I absolutely love the vibe of this place. It has a timeless, old-school charm that feels like stepping back a few decades. The seating isn’t fancy and the artwork on the walls hasn’t changed in years, which gives it a nostalgic, slightly run-down feel, but in the best way possible. This is a place that Anthony Bourdain would consider a classic American lunch spot. Everything about this restaurant matches that character: the food is classic, comforting, and consistently delicious; the staff are friendly and genuine, making the experience even better. I’ve beenq here multiple times now and it’s become my go-to lunch spot. So far, I haven’t been disappointed and I don’t expect to be any time soon!

First walking in. I got the vibe that this is what an "Authentic" sandwich shop is supposed to be. Not super pretty and vibrant. But clean and about their business. Ordering was easy, and the cashier guided through my order. The sandwich was LOADED! I ordered the spicy Italian. Onion rings were... onion rings. So they were delicious as well. This is the type of place that I would frequent often if there was one here in the Atlanta surrounding areas.

I’m still not sure about this cheesesteak. It had a sneaky good amount of meat and a sneaky lot of grease/oil. The fried onions were much hotter than the meat which at times was very uncomfortably for my mouth. $17.75 for the combo and it was definitely big enough to share. Plenty of tables and a bathroom. I know the tots came from a food supplier and Olympic just deep fried them but they were good tots and plenty of them.

I wouldnt reccommend this place if you have any dairy restrictions or food sensitivities. I only say this is because my husband and I order 2 italian subs. One...mine.. Was to have american cheese and onions on it as well as lettuce and tom...hubbies had a reg italian sub with provolone no onions just light mayo lettuce and tom....i am very very very very sensitive to cheese. I can only eat american cheese well this place marked our subs wrong. I got an italian sub with american cheese light mayo letuuce tom and onions... They put american cheese on his wrapper with onions and mine was plain...said nothing. They got the subs mixed up which is not good because of allergies and sensitivites.plus hubby hates onions......it is a good thing my husband ate first because if not i would have eaten the one that was marked wrong and wnded up in the er tonight due to stomach pain from the provolone cheese. I cannot eat it. At all!!! Just for everyone please double check to make sure they marked your food correctly if you have food sensitivity cause they didnt for us. I will be calling the store tomorrow to...

Wow!!!! My wife and I drove up from Smyrna today to try this sub shop, suggested by a friend of my daughter. We were greeted by a very personable, and nice lady, I believe her name was Sarah, who helped us put together our order. I had the tuna and provolone, it was fresh, stacked high on a good quality roll, and it was delicious and I couldn't finish it. My wife had the Nigerian, which is well balanced with the different meats combined to make this a winning sandwich. I'll get that sub next. The staff great, and while eating I stopped the owner and asked if he would open a sub shop like this in Smyrna. Coming from North Jersey, where there are deli's and diners of great quality, so I know a great sub. This is the best sub I had in the 15 years of living on Delaware. The owner "Nick" was a classy gentleman to talk to, very sincere, and doing his best to keep his family legacy going strong. Guy Fieri needs to know about this diamond in the rough. Still can't believe I passed this sandwich shop all these years. This visit to Olympic is well worth the drive, and I will...

About 15 years ago, I asked a friend “who’s got the best cheesesteaks in town?” He said Olympics. I’ve been going here for my cheesecakes ever since. This place, arguably, has the best cheesesteak in the city of Wilmington. So truthfully, I don’t have much to compare it to because I don’t go anywhere else.

Now, the atmosphere. It’s not an eat in spot. Yes, they have a few tables but I think they are more for waiting for your food. There is not much to say on atmosphere here. Its mostly a

The service is meh. Folks aren’t real friendly. In 15 years I have never been greeted warmly. I am not sure how to explain their customer service. It’s like non existent but not in an offensive way. It’s like there’s no extra effort put into greeting customers: no hello/greeting, no smile, no thank you, no a pleasant tone, no excitement, no energy, no emotion. It just meh and blah. But the cheesesteaks make the meh and blah service easy to overlook. Oh, and plan to grab chips elsewhere cause theirs are high...
