I've been to many different Domino's pizza locations in the Portland area, and this Wilsonville location is, by far and wide, the best.
Many locations have slacked off since Domino's first drastically improved their pizza quality back in 2011 or 2012 to compete with Papa John's. The staples of this new pizza were and still are an excellent garlic pizza sauce topped with just the right amount of cheese (adjustable by request) that's then covered in fresh ingredients and topped off with garlic salt sprinkled and baked into the crust (making the crust more of a bread stick than boring crust). One or more of these have been lackluster or altogether missing in recent years.
This is not so with the Wilsonville location! Their manager must be a stickler for quality and I love them for it! I've had pizzas made by 4 or 5 different employees multiple times, and I have yet to receive a lemon. They have every one of those items I've listed above always fresh and hot whenever I walk in.
That's right. Walk in. I live in West Linn. Both the Lake Oswego and Oregon City locations are closer to me, but I will gladly drive out to Wilsonville to pick up a pizza from this location. The quality is simply that much improved over other locations.
The staff? Always friendly, courteous, and prompt in addressing you when you walk in. The pizza is so good that I even tip extra despite it being an order that I drove to pick-up!
If you're having a birthday or celebration, wanting that Domino's taste that you experienced 7 years ago, or you're simply looking for some great tasting pizza, I cannot recommend this Domino's location enough. It's by far the best I've tried in the Portland area. They've also got great coupons available through the Domino's app, so it's even cheap to take a chance on this review to see if we share the same opinion! Check 'em...
Read moreVery poor customer service. A few days ago, I tried making a "Future Order" for my son's birthday party of 10 pizzas + extras. The website said that this location doesn't allow Future Orders.
So I call them to try and set it up so if I ordered first thing today, they would know to have it ready by 2pm (instead of me guessing when they would have it ready and order x hours beforehand). The phone line is an infinite loop of advertising. No one picks up.
At this point I saw the lower star reviews, but was just hoping for a good experience.
Google says they're open at 10:30am. I drive over to ask about the order and throw them a fat pre-emptive tip. I try to open the door, but it's locked. 3 employees inside working. 10:51am. I notice a piece of paper taped up that says they open at 11am. I knocked and said "I need to ask you question about a big order later today." 2 employees walked to the back. The last employee is building pizza boxes. He doesn't look up, just stops, puts up one pointer finger on each hand to make 1 & 1, or 11. Then he walks to the back without looking. His body language was definitely meant to be condescending and patronizing.
When I was in school, I worked at 2 different pizza joints and this place is making it very hard to make an order. I suggested an update...
Read moreSo I make my order online and pay $13 and some change. That worked with me. I go and get my pizza when it is ready and was told I didn’t pay. I paid online. I showed the worker my bank transaction and my order summary and she gets defensive and then grabs the manager. He comes out and same attitude. He told me it is right and I owe them $30. I told him the exact same thing. He told me that is right and that I need to pay. The other receipt shows my name and number but I have a confirmation email and transaction in my bank app to show that it is not mine. I looked over and saw my pizza and told them to check it and the manager said it probably is yours…. What?!? You agree this is wrong but still giving me unnecessary attitude. I just got off a 12 hour shift and just want to eat at home in peace. So after me getting frustrated they finally gave me my pizza that I ordered and paid for and I left. I for sure do not care to be treated that way. I work in a company where reviews are everything. I would never treat someone the way they treated me. Poor excuse for customer service from a corporation that used to be the...
