I ordered my food at 6 o’clock, i called at 7:15 and got a snotty girl who was less than sympathetic to the fact that I had been waiting for over an hour and said that they are short staffed and it’s going to be 30 more minutes, at that point I was pissed. She then told me well I could give you a refund, cancel your delivery very snarky, so I asked to speak to a manager because I didn’t think she was competent enough to handle a hangry customer, she then starts laughing, the manager gets on the phone and sounds just as young and snarky.I tell her that I did not appreciate the other girl laughing about this when I’m clearly upset, She then says that I’m yelling hard at an “18 year old who was laughing probably as coping mechanism but I don’t know” okay Mrs psychiatrist! I was not yelling, I was being assertive by the way, so that just escalated my entire demeanor honestly. I asked her to get back to the problem, she finally explained that she didn’t have to cancel the order that she could give me a refund and still deliver the food. I agreed to that. It’s now 30 minutes before I close down at my work and I still haven’t ate dinner. Read moreTerrible service! I am 1.6 miles from my local JJ’s and ordered lunch combos for my crew of five at 11:40 today. At 12:15 I called to find out where my food was. I was told that “they were very busy and had a bunch of catering orders go out.” I expressed my displeasure, to which the person replied “well there’s nothing we can do about it“, which of course is completely false, because it is their restaurant after all. 15 minutes later I called back and spoke to the manager, asking where my food was, and was given the same response. I asked what the manager was willing to do for me, to which he replied that he would cancel the order and take back the food. Here it is nearly an hour since I ordered the food, my team is hungry and all the manager can do is offer to take the food back. This really is an example of management that is either not empowered or doesn’t understand how to be responsive their customers. Even if they had known it would take so long to fulfill my order, they could’ve at least called me and let me know. That way I could’ve made alternate plans. Read moreDelivered two sandwiches with burnt, hard, and inedible bread. And one had lettuce added that I didn't specify. Called store to report and the gentleman who answered argued with me for near 10 minutes about how he didn't believe that the bread was actually burnt (after putting me on hold to, apparently, check his bread stock). I told him it was inedible and he straight up asked me "how is it inedible?" After offering to physically show him the bread, he offered to send a new sandwich for the lettuce mistake. Still insisting that he "found the burnt-ness hard to believe."
I'm not even mad about the sandwich, but I am bewildered by the service.
The last few times before this we had any issues with the order, the manager was extremely helpful in remedying any problems we had, including running new sandwiches directly over. So not sure what happened to the service level, but it's decreased significantly since the past...
