Mr. Maple Donuts — Restaurant in Wilsonville

I was picking up an early morning order for someone else. I received like 12-15 text confirmations that the order was ready for pick-up. Once the text updates started, they continued for more than 10 min straight. The best part was I arrived about 5min after the first notification the order was ready, walked in and gave the cashier the name for the order,(I was the only person in the store mind you) and as the lady handed me a box with the appropriate ticket on it, she informed me she just had to finish preparing the drink that went with it. So there I am, thinking it would be in and out since my phone kept saying order ready for pick-up, only to discover that the order was in fact Not actually ready for pick-up and apparently the drink had to be made and blended. Well, as she handed me the box and informed me she had to make the drink that should have been ready as well, another customer walked in and was reviewing the menu. Instead of finishing the drink for my to go order, she stopped and not only greeted the gentleman behind me, but she proceeded to take his order, wait for him to finish deciding, then filled his order while I'm still waiting and on a time frame. To make matters better, the gentleman tried to pay with a $50 bill as that was what he had other than a $5 bill. His order came to $30+ all said and done so making change shouldn't have been that big of a deal, even at 530am, but she instead asked him if he had a card to use instead after checking the bill's authenticity because she wasn't supposed to accept anything over a $20 bill in cash. While he dug out his card and swiped it, she finished his order, made his hot coffee drink, sent him on his way, and then cleaned up the coffee equipment while I just stood there getting frustrated because i was still getting texts saying the order was ready...lol She finally started making the drink for my order, which turned out to be a cold mango/smoothie type drink and took her all of 45secs to prep and with the blending, pouring, and serving barely took a min and a half. She handed me the drink, and as i was walking out the door, asked me to come back to the counter so she could tape the straw to the box. She offered no apology or explanation for the long wait time or for serving someone else entirely before finishing up with me when I was there first and the only patron upon arrival. The store felt welcoming enough, and I can't attest to the quality of the food or drink as they weren't mine. However, the service was more than lacking in professionalism or courtesy. I personally expected much better service and would have gone elsewhere had I been paying for it because of how...

The people there are so friendly it is so nice to have them here in our neighborhood and the donuts are wonderful they have so many options and I love that they have the options for the children and the fact that they have cream and their donuts oh my goodness how wonderful is that to have fresh cream Yes it's a joy I try to make it there every morning because my grandchildren love to have a donut before school It may not be the best idea for the teachers but it keeps the kids happy and I love the donut holes yum yum yum I can't wait until morning so that I can get a bacon maple and some donut holes for myself apple fritter for my husband and then the Cookie monster for my grandkids and the glazed for my son oh what am I saying I always get a dozen mixed a little bit of everything to eat all through the day Thanks Mr Maple I've probably gained 5 lb since you moved in but...

Today I stopped by Mr. Maple for my son’s 16th birthday because he loves their maple bacon doughnuts. Unfortunately, since we arrived closer to noon, they were already sold out of his favorite. The shop was pretty busy, but when we asked if they could check, the two ladies working Lorena & Lorena went above and beyond.

Even though they were clearly working hard, they kindly offered to make a fresh batch just for him. I didn’t want to cause extra work, but they insisted with a smile. A few minutes later, one of them brought out fresh maple bacon doughnuts for my son. He was so happy, and I was incredibly appreciative.

Their kindness and outstanding customer service made this visit so special. We’ve always loved coming here, but after this experience, we’ll be stopping by...
