I love going to mimas kitchen!! They have some of the best tacos, my daughters all time favorite place to eat in fact and her favorite thing to get is a bean & cheese taco ( actually 2 of them) this is actually her favorite meal of ALL time and has been for the last 8 years! Service is great, atmosphere is casual, but very clean and very comfortable. And the 2 biggest complements i can give are that this place has been right where its at now for over 20 plus years, & the food and service, and cleanliness, and quaint goodness of mimas has never changed. Friendly service and home cooked food fill you up,put a smile on your face and (for me, remind you to take a little time to relax & enjoy the small things, like the beautiful little grin your daughter wears anticipating the arrival of her bean and cheese tacos! And then watching as she dances her happy dance and hugging your neck for the yummy food shes enjoying with momma and how content and satisfied you both are! And the second is simpley the memories i was blessed to make with my kids that are such warm happy memories. I would take this time to saythank you Mima's for the great food, & wonderful memories i have of me and my kids...

Food was good, beans lacked that homemade taste. Need to add garlic seasoning and Comino seasoning, and some onion seasoning if serving beans from a can and fry them in bacon oil to make them authentic. Huevos rancheros were good, these were scrambled, huevos rancheros are usually over easy or Sunny side up. To make it authentic Mexican food it needs flavor. Try adding Knorrs Chicken flavor to rice to give it that Mexican flavor touch. The flour tortillas were some of the best I've had and I've been to many authentic Mexican Restaurants down in the Valley. These flour tortillas were great. Overall a good dining experience, friendly staff and fast service. Just bring cash because they don't accept credit cards. ATM located inside the restaurant. You have to order at counter. I'd recommend having a pick up window available outside so it doesn't get to congested inside...

VERY happy that the beloved taco spot has returned with another generation. The food is great, the staff are fantastic, the place is even cleaned up a bit. The menu has changed slightly but the same salsa bar is still there. Better yet, you can now use plastic so you don't have to scramble for cash. The only major pain is that there are no prices?!? Another part of the entire post-pandemic economy that is anti consumer? Or, more likely, haven't put them up yet. Well, if I can see prices before I order, I'll update my review. Until then, your guess what they charge until they charge.

I had the breakfast taco special when I came in. It was a brisket & bean breakfast taco. Should have been titled breakfast bean taco with a few bits of brisket, but it still tasted solid.
