American Deli — Restaurant in Winder

I’ve had good and bad experiences here but today has been the worst of all. We spent $70 and received the wrong order. Instead of being able to let my son stop by to pick up the correct order, we have to go all the way because they want the wrong food brought back (even though they already knew they gave us the wrong food). Not only does this pose a huge inconvenience to a family waiting for food, in times of COVID I can’t understand why they would want all of that contaminated food back. She even asked if we had touched the food. Well of course we have. If I had said no, were they going to give the food that had already left the store to someone else? The manager never came to the phone. The cashier I was speaking with had no idea what to do. She had to keep going to talk to the manager. She was lost. While waiting for my food I noticed that the one girl behind the counter that was a different race than the other 3 people working there was being very disrespectful toward her coworkers asking if they “understand” and saying “comprehende” and making other broken Spanish comments after giving orders to the cooks. It was very rude of her to say this over and over to someone in the first place but she was also very loud and energetic like she was just having the time of her life being disrespectful to others. Her coworkers were laughing awkwardly like it was okay but it made me so uncomfortable so I know it had to be terrible for them.

I called my order in yesterday with no issues. I always order my American Deli wings Xtra crispy but these wings are SO tiny… they were inedible. the wings took up a quarter of the plate (in a little corner) and the rest of the plate was fries. The sauce taste different from the original hot wing flavor, the lemonade taste funny. literally nothing was right. I moved here from Atlanta a year ago and I will just stick to making my wings at home because this was nothing close to the real American Deli experience.
