On August 11th I had a birthday party for my grandson and there were about 6 children there. There were a lot of people in there this day and all kids,as usual, were running all around. Next thing we know my four year old grandson was missing and we frantically went in search of him. We saw him thru the window and he had gotten outside and was in the parking lot. They are supposed to keep a doorkeeper posted at all times to prevent this from happening. On this day that person had been taken from their post. We confronted the manager and was basically treated as if it were no big deal. I called corporate and asked for them to at least give us a voucher for the 74 dollars we're had already spent when we left upset. They refused. They never would talk to me personally about the incident, only via email. I was told they would send a guest pass good for one pizza and 30 tokens, no where near what we spent. We we're we'ated like we we're inconveniencing them and thet are fortunate it turned out ok as he could have been abducted or hit by a car. After not receiving the promised guest pass, I emailed them back and was told it must have gotten stolen out of my mailbox to call the police. I am shocked and appalled that we were treated this way by a billion plus dollar company and will never go back and advise others to go to celebration station in Greensboro NC instead . So disappointed in the treatment we received from a place we have frequented...
Read moreOk so Chuck E. Cheese’s is really fun for the kids, my kids had a blast, they are 4 & 6yrs old. We decided to go on sunday , this was the first time for all of us and everything went well. We got one of the combo packs with pizza, drinks and tokens, the pizza was alright but not the greatest, the kids really enjoyed it but as a parent next time i believe I'll eat somewhere else. I have to say i was suprised at how affordable chuck e cheese really is, if you use a coupon from online you can get 100tokens for just $25 & that's plenty bc each game only takes one token, even if you don't use an online coupon you can spend as little as $10 for 30tokens. It was very crowded when we went (3 bday parties were taking place)& the kids would have to decide quickly what they wanted to play bc if you wait to long then another kid runs up and starts playing. There was some games that wasn't working on our visit which was disappointing but also understandable being it's a place for kids. I do think they need to add some slides for the smaller kids so they have more to do, even so, it's still a great place to take the kids to have some fun and then go to marketplace cinema's and watch a movie- that's what we did- makes for a perfect family day while staying...
Read moreNever, ever order takeout from this restaurant. You WILL be treated like a second class customer. Two out of three of my experiences have been negative.
The first time, they put unrequested cheddar cheese on my pizza, which I hate but didn't know was on it until I got home, tasted something strange, and noticed some of the cheese looked unusually dark and orange. When I called to complain, the manager knew exactly what I was talking about, said it was added cheddar, and indicated he knew the order had gone out incorrectly (another customer requested the cheddar), but he assumed I would view an additional cheese as a bonus and gave it to me anyway.
The second time, I ordered online, picked up at the appointed time 20 minutes later, only to get home and find that they had given me an old pizza that had probably been sitting on the buffet and was crusty looking and cool to the touch. Then, their online customer care rep wanted to give me a hard time about rectifying it because the only order number I had was the one given to me by the company THEY use to fulfill online orders. They expected me to make phone calls to track down info even after I'd provided them with screen shots of emails showing every detail of the order at the time...
