Starbucks — Restaurant in Winston-Salem

This is the slowest location I have ever ordered from. I recommend saving your time and going to the Starbucks on Stratford road or going to the Starbucks that's in the Target nearby.

Repeatedly I have experienced extreme delays in my orders. Today I ordered a drink with a 10:10 a.m. delivery estimate, I arrived just before time, and then proceeded to wait until 10:25 to get my drink. While I was waiting my hot food was prepared, but they kept it behind the counter to deliver the food and drink at the same time. Which led my food to be cold by the time I drink was finally ready. I also witnessed an employee prepare their own food, prepare their own drink, bag it all up, and then clock out from the system and leave. This was all while they were about 10 to 15 customers waiting in store for their drinks at they had already ordered.. I don't understand why the management fails to schedule additional employees on the weekends and during mornings when they know it's going to be busy. I also don't understand why they allow employees to leave when they are paid with an hourly wage, so it's not like it's salary and they would be working for free... Honestly one of the more subpar Starbucks I've visited travelling. The parking is INSANE, actually feel like I'm going to get in/cause an accident upon backing out, the lot is so small. There is no drive thru, so you will have to walk in. The one in Clemmons is MUCH better, better baristas, quick service, drinks are always on point, friendly staff and I'm in and out as quickly as I want to be without wondering if my insurance will skyrocket.

This location has turned into one that I'd rather avoid than attempt at navigating in the name of espresso; especially considering the drinks are always more milk than espresso or just plain made wrong. When even my mother, who doesn't do more than a double in a grande or tall (I can't do less than a quad) is upset at how much milk is in it, I know it's not all in my head. I know Starbucks isn't the standard at which true aficionados rate their coffee/espresso, I make most of mine at home as well and know how to pull a shot, but when travelling this is what most of our time constraints leave us left with; SO avoid this one, drive four miles to Clemmons and visit...

Did a mobile order this morning and my drink time said 5:45, so I got there around 5:48 and the doors were locked. Another guy came knocked on the door and the lady said that they were running behind which I was okay with, so I asked for a refund because I had to be to work by 6. At this time, it's like 5:50. She said I couldn't get a refund for a mobile order and said that I can come back later for a free drink. How is it a free drink if I paid for it and wasn't able to get the drink I paid for. I then got a noticfication saying that my drink is ready at 5:55, but I was already on my way to work. Now normally this location is good, but today, I just felt like it wasn't.
