Subway — Restaurant in Winston-Salem

Arrived at this location at 8:20pm on 3/15/23 after going to another location that advised they were out of bread. The sign on the door listed 9pm for closing but the door was locked. One staff was sweeping, another was seated using her cell and another was in the back but within eyesight. We knocked on the door and asked if they were open. They pretended not to see us, while laughing with one another. We knocked again and stated the sign reads closing is at 9pm. The staff sweeping appeared to speak to the one in the back. Hesitantly, she walked slowly and opened the door. We asked why was the door locked. She stated bc we wanted to clean up. We stated what would the owner say to that? No staff replied. The one sweeping continued to sweep, the one on the phone continued to use her phone and the one in the back remained in the back. We asked if anyone would be taking our order. The one sweeping stated I will when I’m done sweeping. What an awful representation of Subway. These individuals need to be reprimanded. EDITED: Store definitely dropped the ball but I think it's just a training issue. I called and left message and regional manger called me within an hour to make it right.

ORIGINAL: Ordered a meal deal and a friend went to pick it up and came back with no drink. I will never go to the Hanes Mall Blvd location again! People use coupons and I had a subway coupon still in date for a $5.99 6 inch meal but was told they do not accept them and when I asked why was told it was the owners decision! So with that being said this is the only subway I have had this issue with and whoever the owner is needs to get a grip! If you don’t want your store to participate then make sure it’s on the coupon!
