It has been a long time since I visited Jason's Deli. The young employees were in a rush, and there was no line. I had a splint on my left wrist from recent surgery on my hand. The cashier didn't seem to notice or care. I asked her for assistance to help get the cup, and she quickly slid across the counter. She replied, "Did I still want lemonade? Really? Wasn't listening. Not trained for customer service. I also ordered food to go for my family. I paid quickly. Was very rushed. I moved down the line. Another group of young employees. Only one would bother to help me. I was also using my cane. It was obvious this was a very u pleasant experience. A young student, Gabriel, came to assist me. He helped get my drink so I would fall or drop the drink. I ordered my potatoes other added I gradients. The cashier came rushing to the table with the to go order before serving my food. I asked her in the beginning to wait until I was finished before bringing the to go order. Again, nit listening. She walked very fast. Put it down walked very fast. She was busy with the other rwam nembers playing up front. I counted multiple employees standing around not engaged in the customers in the restaurant. Cell phones serm yo be their choice if communication. I paid a heft sum for thus experience. Gabriel checked on me again several times. He helped me with my jacket. Walked with me to my car. He was the only person in your restaurant team alert. Not focused on their skills. I was shocked at the unprofessional atmosphere, service, quality of food. My family food was thrown in a bag too early. Have these children not been trained that a to go order doesn't mean slamming food together before I could enjoy my lunch. The lady that was buying tables were very stressed out. The chairs she was dragging across the floor quite loudly, not picking them up, ir you might incest in rubber sliders on the very old dining room. It was quite annoying. Loud. Music was deplorable. This is not the experience I had years ago. I would not go back with my family for such an expensive meal in that atmosphere. I highly suggest management train your employees. Well paid. This was unacceptable service. If I had the time to look at menu. It was very rushed. I was the only one in line. Very few tables had customers. It was a rushed experience by very young...
Read moreI paid for 2 salad bars and then went to pick up our trays and silverware BUT the workers had put small plastic forks on our trays rather than the regular silverware . I thought they must have made a mistake so I asked if I could have a regular fork and was told there were not any clean forks, so I asked.when some clean ones would be coming out and was told there would not be any clean ones coming out.....?????....it was only 5 mins to 7:00 PM so what the worker seemed.to be saying is that there would be no clean silverware the rest of the evening. The little plastic "to go fork" would probably suffice to maybe hold a pickle with but certainly not to eat a whole salad. I went back to the front where the person who I was told was the manager was talking on the phone. After a few minutes when he finished talking I told him what had happened and told him that we really could not handle the plastic utensils and that we would like our money back.............I was very surprised when he started processing our refund ......which is what i had asked him to do ........but what was suprising is that he did not offer to have someone wash some forks so that we would stay...... forks are all we wanted, but he did not try in the slightest to salvage some patrons business.... or try and work anything out. I suppose I should have told him directly that we would stay if he got us some real forks, but I thought that since he was management material that he would have thought of that on his own ,but he just let us walk out the door. It was still only 7:09 pm when we left so I wonder how many other diners had the same experience and how much business they lost that night. We won't be back in the...
Read moreMe and my mother were anticipating some Jason’s deli after our local Longhorn had an hour and 15 minute wait. Since my mom was tired and wanted something quick and delicious to just take home I ordered online through Google. It said that when Jason’s deli confirmed my order it will be sent to my email. 10 minutes passed after Google said that my order would be ready. As my mom went to the register she asked the lady if our order was ready and which the lady said that there was no order confirmed for my mothers name. She asked the manager and he told us that he didn’t get the order and he had to confirm it on our end or he wouldn’t receive the order. This was confusing because I had an order number…The manager was very nonchalant and had a nasty attitude towards my mother and did nothing to try to attempt to resolve the issue. My mother was getting ill so I called the manager to clarify that I did have an order number, in which he repeatedly told me that he didn’t receive an order. He told me that he would go back to triple check, turns out the order was there all along and he just ended up lying and saying that he just got it when that was a lie as-well. My mother had already left whenever I had entered her card so she just called back to just cancel the order because she was getting very irritated, in which the guy tried to say that it was our fault and he continues to be very argumentative with my mother after not helping us at all whenever she came to the register. He is a sloppy un-professional male and I will never come back here again. Bad look on...
