I have never seen a restaurant staff so detached and apathetic towards its patrons. There was no customer service, only customer neglect and gas lighting. I was picking up an online order. Upon entering I was met with a crowd of people just standing around, trash all over the floor, random dirty buckets, wet floor signs all over the place and an overpowering stench that resembled that of dirty mop water. The pickup area was empty so I waited in line to ask the cashier, which I did not mind doing. I had to ask several people if they were in line because everyone was just standing around in a big cluster in front of the counter with confused and frustrated looks on their faces. I gave the cashier my order name, and without a word she just turned around and disappeared. I figured she was going to get the order or at least a status on it, as that is protocol. But, no, she just went about doing something else, and I was just left there with the same confused looked that all the other patrons had. Then finally another cashier came over to "help" me but ended up doing the same thing as the previous one. Then they demanded that I step aside so the next person in line could order. I refused because I had not even been helped yet. Then the two of them started speaking in front of me in another language, and then just stared at me with blank faces until one of them said "10 minutes" out of the blue. I knew this was a lie because she had never even checked on the order. She just didn't want to deal with me. I was not being difficult; I just needed to get the status of the order or at least confirmation that they had received it. It wasn't asking too much. They refused to communicate with me or help me retrieve the order. After 15 minutes of trying to get a staff member to speak to me, I left. Other patrons were leaving as well and without their food despite having already paid. I had never seen such abuse of patrons by a restaurant staff. I've worked in the restaurant industry for 20 years, so I know it is a difficult job. But when you punch in, you punch in, and you do your job adequately, and that includes decent customer service. I strongly recommend staying away from this establishment. If you want chicken, go to Chic Fil A or Dave's across the street where they treat customers like people...

Keeping items such as lids for the soda cups stocked. They had small and large lids, I had a medium soda...no lid, that was okay, I ate in and don't use a lid when i eat in. Even the soda nosel from the left coke fountain came off and went in to my cup. I put it back on the fountain. I find some Popeyes have a limited menu, such as Northeastern University, but i expect that at smaller locations. I was looking forward to some cajun rice, but it wasn't on the menu. Ordered 24 piece Ghost wings. Medium redbeans and coleslaw but got small individual sizes. There were two of us in my party. Also ordered two biscuts, but when we finished and got in our vehicle, I looked inside and saw the picture of the tray of biscuts on the wall. Turned to my brother and said... We didnt get our biscuts. I chuckeled, but my brother said. I always get sc@$!#% when I get fast food. I'm the one crasy about Popeye's Chicken & Biscuts. My brother most likley would not have gone to Popeyes, but I been talking about Popeyes since they opened in Woburn. I guess if I want the full menu and my cajun rice, I have to go to the Roxbury location. They have a full memu and great employees, just like Woburn employees, they did everything possible to make my experience the best possable. Almost 40 years ago my high school gave me work credit when I worked for Popeyes in Porter Square in Somerville. I still remember the owner Dean... He was a fun guy. He'd stand on the side and watch us filling orders. We knew he was happy with us when he'd turn and wink his eye in our direction. Popeyes has always been part of me, I'm sure I'll be back and maybe the Cajun Rice will be on the menu, 'cause... I Love that Chicken at...
Read moreUpon arriving, myself and only 1 other person are in sight ordering food. I am the first to order though, I order a chicken sandwich and two 2 piece chicken meals. I receive my receipt and I’m order #87. 10 minutes after ordering, order #82 is called, yet there wasn’t anyone in sight who ordered before me. After about another 5 minutes, order #87 is called and I couldn’t help but be slightly upset because my order was simple and all the food was in sight, wasn’t sure why there was such a hold up . I understand it may have been an online order but there were no orders places in the online order section. The restaurant was clean which is a plus. Although this whole situation was confusing and this isn’t the first time I’ve had an issue with costumer service.
Moving onto the food, it was great as usual. Popeyes does an exceptional job at serving good tasting food. Although when I received the food in the bag, it was not organized very well. I understand when moving the bag around the food may be shuffled around anyways, but looking into the bag to see it all over the place and some food almost spilling, it’s just not a good look.
Overall, if you’re looking for tasty food nearby, I’d give...
