As a barbecue lover, I have always heard great things about Famous Dave's, so I decided to give it a try. I visited the location in my area and I must say, the experience was exceptional. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and the staff was extremely friendly.

Kyana, our server, was fantastic from start to finish. She greeted us with a warm smile and guided us through the menu, offering her recommendations and answering all our questions. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she even went out of her way to suggest some items that were not on the menu but were still available.

The food was absolutely delicious! We started with their famous "Burnt Ends" as an appetizer, and it was a great choice. The meat was tender and juicy, and the sauce was perfectly balanced. For our main course, I had the St. Louis-style ribs, and they were cooked to perfection. The meat was so tender it fell off the bone, and the sauce was incredible. My companion ordered the brisket, which was equally delicious. The sides were also outstanding, and we particularly enjoyed the cornbread and coleslaw.

The restaurant is tidy, they recently repainted the walls of the dining area. They haven't put back all the photos that were lining the walls, but it is still nice. Currently with covid-19 going on they have a thermal forehead scanner near the entrance of the door to make sure that you're healthy. You coming with a mask, and you take it off when you're at your own seats. The food was rather prompt and arriving. We did the (I believe it was called) Burnt Tips appetizer. The meat was delicious and came with thin cuts of onion on the side to where it wasn't overpowering and over all delicious. We did the lunch special, to where all of us got the saltwater salmon. It was my first time trying it and I definitely recommend. The salmon was tender and the bread was not too thick to where it broke off cleanly with each bite. With the lunch special you could get one thru three orders of meats. One order of the saltwater salmon is four pieces, if you try and double it by doing the two meats they only give you two extra. It's not doubling the order, it's by the ounce as a heads up. When it comes to the end of your meal, if you have your drink that you want to take home with you or extra food period when you ask for the check specify that you want the to-go cup as well. we made that mistake and we wound up having to wait a few extra minutes to wave down a waitress, who called our waitress, so that she could be the one to address getting us the to go cups.
