✨Location: follow your heart to get here 🤣jk, I came here because I was looking for a washroom after having two big breakfast(s), the dishes were fine, it’s just my digestive system. The washroom is clean enough. ✨Seatings: you have two options, outside or inside and of course I must go with my best friend, the air-conditioner🎶 ✨We have Cộng Cà Phê in SaiGon but it’s not an exaggeration to say I’ve been waiting to go to grab a Soda Sấu (soda with dracontomelon fruit syrup). The taste is a work a of art because the bubbling soda is fun to drink and the strong taste of the syrup containing ginger slices with the crunchiness of the fruit will get you out of Hanoi heat and to the beach 🏝️ and happiness (or at least that’s what it feels like to me). This was perhaps my most favourite Cong Caphe. Located to the south of Hoa Kiem lake and the old prison, this store comes within a great central location. I was greeted attentively by 2 staff members upon arrival who went out of their way to make me feel welcome. I consumed a Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk , a real treat once per day.

This particular venue boasted a living tree inside, multiple cosy rooms with plenty of sofas and large coffee tables. A perfect place to gather with friends or for a business meeting. The spiral staircase leading upstairs was equally as impressive. Merchandise was available along with the store showcasing some great heritage Vietnamese photos. Lovely chain coffee shop capitalizing (ha!) on vintage Communist decor. If you're hot and sweaty in Hanoi get one of their iced coconut coffees and thank me later. If the weather is cooler opt for a salted coconut coffee or any number of other delightful creations. This outlet is nice because of an array of faux-army chairs and tables outside lined up like a Paris cafe. Cash only. Enjoy!
