I have lived in NYC for awhile. I really enjoy a good pie. I didn't have high expectations getting pizza half way across the world. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The only way it could have been better is if it was made with NYC water [we all know that's why NYC has the best pie]. That's a tall order and not practical. I have been in Asia for over a month so far and love the food, but was craving pizza. If you are in Hanoi, this is the spot. Great food, great service, friendly owner. I will be going back. Keep up the great work!

Edit after reading other reviews: if people think this is expensive they are broke and should reconsider traveling across the world. If you can't afford a whole pie for $15 than idk what else to say. The owner is a great guy who is clearly trying to put out the best pies for the best prices he can with the Ingredients available. I'll say it again. Keep up the great...

When you're in a new city for a short time, it's always great to slap the shoes on, hit the streets, and try to see as much of it as possible. If you're lucky, you can stumble into places like this. A couple of slices of exceptionally good pizza for a light meal and back to exploring the beautiful, amazing, vibrant, exciting city of Hanoi. My pizza was cooked and served very quickly. It had that good stretchy cheese, perfect toppings, rich sauce, and a crispy base. I LOVE my local pizza shop back home in Australia, and I don't wanna hurt their feelings, but NYC does a pretty damn perfect pizza! Oh, and it was today I learned that Americans call it a "pie". How is it a pie? Isn't a pie just a pastry filled with stuff? I know you're probably saying to yourself, "Who is this bloke to question the name of it?" And you'd be right.... I stand corrected. I'll use the correct name...

The pizza tasted delicious almost as "cheesy" a in the commercials ( I really don't know another way to put it). I didn't even know it was possible! We arrived at 13:15 which is somewhat late for lunch in Vietnam but the four of us were warmly greeted and we got our orders without a problem. I personally found the place looks exactly like I would expect a New York pizzaria to look like, though I have never been to one so you shouldn't take my word for it 😂. There was a painted mural on the wall of the statue of liberty and the wall was covered in framed pictures of happy customers, pizza facts and funny pizza quotes. It was a really fun place to visit and I would...

Had a slice of pepperoni. Although reheated, it still felt really stale, with the tomato and cheese not coming through. This is one of the issues with reheating slices that are left out for a long time, in that the tomato sauce dries up and the cheese becomes rubbery. But more importantly, the pizza dough was tough, chewy, and limp. No crisp or char. Slice was also too small for that price, and for it to be considered ny-style. Edit: It's not the case that I'm not one for slice shops as the restaurant has suggested in its reply, but rather, I'm not one for mediocre pizza slices (re: entire paragraph above). The lack of humility is quite astounding.
