This place was very welcoming and attentive to us after we had just walked out of an indian place due to terrible service down the street being seated and ignored. Ill call them Pretty Krappy Spice. Red Chili was awesome!, We were seated within 5 minutes as 1 table had just opened up and they began cleaning it quickly for us. We had drinks at our table right away after being seated. We saw the food at tables beside us and it looked and smelled great! Our timing was good, as after we ordered it got very busy and people were waiting for tables. They have tables across the street, which is where we sat. This is actually where you want to be because there isnt anyone walking on that side due to scooter parking, and nobody is hovering over you looking at menus or waiting for a table while you eat or hangout. Anyway, we got the naan bread, Butter chicken, chicken vindaloo, beef kabobs, and rice for 2 people. The naan bread came out 10 mins or so before the food which was nice for an app to nibble on as we chatted. It was about 35 minutes when our food came out, and it was well worth the wait as the food was hot and so flavourful! Staff checked on us periodically to see if we wanted more drinks and to ask how the food was. We actually ordered too much as the portions were a good size. We ate everything we could and we were fuller than full with leftovers. We were so impressed and made sure to leave a tip. Its places like this that deserve to be top rated, so eat here and review it to help grow their business. Thr lady was so nice, and the couple fellas there can really cook. It was top notch! ...
Read moreCame in tonight for dinner; the waiter started by taking my order and walking away ignoring my female partner. We ordered butter chicken and peshwari naan bread with rice. The butter chicken was amongst the better curries we've had in Vietnam. The peshwari naan on the other hand was sprinkled with nuts and tasteless. When we mentioned this to our waiter he told us peshwari was supposed to be sweet and with fruit, however it was neither. Each time we tried to address this with him he would tell us "1 minute", walk upstairs and then reappear only to ignore us once again. After this issue, he offered us to pay for only a butter naan, but after paying, he proceeded to renege on this and tell us we had to pay for the peshwari naan in full. He followed us out of the restaurant and down the street. Its a shame, because the curry was nice, but the service here is probably the worst I've had in any restaurant to date, I would avoid...
Read moreIf i would have had an option of rating it in negative than probably would have opted for that. We went there at 10pm and ordered one dish, which took eternity to come. When we asked him, he said it will take only 5 mins and at 11:15 pm he realised he forgot to place the order itself. Most places were close by that time, the owner was not even apologetic about it. The place is small and doesn’t look hygienic at all. The people who were leaving didnt look satisfied at all with the food. We would still have considered sitting there and eating if the staff was good or polite and on top of that the prices are on the higher end only. We recommend going to Mazi(similar Indian restaurant) with better quality food and sitting area. The people there are polite and the price range is exactly same and the food...
