After learning what salt coffee was and deciding it was the greatest invention since sliced bread, I decided that I had to go to every cafe in Vietnam to find the best of the best. Luckily for me, I found it here at Salt Mate.
I already thought I had found the winner at a coffee shop in Nha Trang, as no other salt coffee even came close to it. But after one sip of the Hue Salt Coffee from Salt Mate I knew that it already blew every other contender away. I cannot recommend this place enough and think it should be your very first stop when coming to Hanoi.

I went there this morning and got the salt coffee and my partner got lemonade. Both were delicious and the staff was accommodating when I requested takeaway instead. The staff was polite and let us know there didn't have fruit delivered yet to make smoothies.
