Seoul Specialty Coffee in Hanoi was a fantastic find, especially since we visited just hours before our flight back to Manila. The shop had a casual and chill vibe, with beautifully designed menus and packaging that added to the experience. I tried three different coffee preparations—pour-over, a cold brew variation, and the traditional Vietnamese Phin—each served with thoughtful explanations from the baristas.
The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making the experience even more enjoyable despite the language barrier. We had an engaging conversation about coffee, and they even helped me book a Michelin-star restaurant after my visit. The pricing was reasonable for the quality, making it a highly recommended spot for anyone looking to explore specialty coffee in Hanoi.
This is a must-visit place for coffee enthusiasts and the like. I really hope you can visit them and also bring some coffee beans for the baristas so they can enjoy beans from different...

The woman who helped me was polite and processed the order with no issues (guava iced coffee and cinnamon roll).
But, with that said, because the cinnamon roll was being warmed.up (unbeknownst to me), I was served the coffee and waited for what felt like an eternity for the treat. However, the disappointment was when the roll finally arrived, as despite it having been warned up, it was bland and harder than any cinnamon roll should ever be.🤘🏻
Both items cost ₫ 120,000, which is reasonable, but perhaps save your money for pastries and treats for somewhere else.
The plus is that inside there is comfortable seating and air conditioning, and outside there are some tables and chairs that give a great view of another super busy intersection. A great place to...
Read moreThis afternoon, my friends and I went to this café for a coffee break. The table outside only had three chairs, but our group had four people. When we asked the female staff if we could move one of the chair from inside (there were only two customers inside and plenty of empty chairs), a male staff nearby reacted with irritation and refused to let us move the chair outside.
Things wouldn’t have escalated if that was the end of it, but later while we were drinking our coffee, the male staff came out and asked us, "Do you have any a problem with me?" before proceeding to argue with us.
Regardless of who was right or wrong, in the service industry, you’re not just selling a product, but also the service. Arguing with customers is something to be avoided at all costs. We came to Soul for the quality of the products, but we will not return because of this kind of...
