⚠️ CAUTION-NOT GLUTEN FREE⚠️ Beware celiacs and people with gluten allergies! The dishes that are supposed to be gluten free, are not gluten free!
I am celiac and I arrived at the restaurant and showed them a gluten free translation card that explained what gluten is and what foods are unsafe to eat. The head server took a one second glance at the card and put it down and didn’t care about it. She pointed out many items on the menu that she said are gluten free. When I began to ask about the ingredients in the items she pointed out to me, I discovered many of them contain gluten.
She stated that the fried spring rolls and banh xeo (fried rice pancake) were 100% gluten free. I asked her if they contain knorr (a wheat containing seasoning), and she said that they do contain it. She then recommended I eat the fresh spring rolls. I asked if they contain crispy fried onion that has wheat flour, and she said they do contain it. I was appalled that three of the dishes the assured me were gluten free, were not actually gluten free after further investigation.
I ended up ordering the fresh spring rolls (like a salad roll) and asked them to be made with no crispy onion, which the head server assured me they could do. When she delivered the food, she confirmed that they made them without crispy onion. After I took a few bites, I found many pieces of crispy onion in it. I then showed her multiple pieces of crispy onion and she denied that they were onion and she tried to tell me they were carrot. I had my friends taste the pieces and they all confirmed there was absolutely no doubt the pieces are onion. She still did not believe all of us and nobody from the restaurant took responsibility for what happened.
My experience at this restaurant was aweful. Please do not eat here if you have an allergy...

Hmmm how do I say this. It’s as if I ate at a Vietnamese restaurant.. in another country.
Food isn’t bad, it’s actually okay, but I’ve had better versions. I know that taste is subjective, so if other people enjoyed the food here, I respect that. But since I am to write an honest review, from my perspective, here are my observations:
-big slices of carrots in the chicken pho. The herb used in the pho was parsley. -chillies in pho (not optional, it’s already in there) so I couldn’t even taste the actual taste of the broth. -the banh xeo wasn’t very crispy, it was soggy. -there are no herbs, oh wait -there was literally one piece of (beyond)wilted mint with the lettuce -they used store-brought sweet chili sauce, or atleast it’s how it looked like: sticky orange sauce.. and soysauce or something that looks like it… for the pho(?)
-overall, to me it looked sad. I didn’t have the energy to take a photo. Staff are really nice. I hope they are...
Read moreThis restaurant had delicious, fresh food and kind staff! My stomach wasn't feel great so I came here to get something simple, since it had high reviews and thus I figured would be fresh. I ordered steamed vegetables and rice, and even though it was a simple dish, they did a fantastic job! The veggies were steamed perfectly and the rice was so fluffy with nice sauces on the side. It was exactly what I needed to settle my stomach and still feel full. Afterward the staff even brought me free cold tea and some candies, which was the cherry on top to helping me feel better. In addition, I was eating solo and didn't feel out of place. I would absolutely come here again and try more...
