This place has some fantastic meals which have samplings. Like the dish which lets you wrap various types of meat and vegetables into spring rolls is particularly healthy, delicious, and I didn't find it at other restaurants in the area. The spring roll sampler is also particularly well done and delicious. The traditional Cau Lau, Beef Pho and Mi Quang are delicious, too. They are less unique as I found them at other restaurants in the area, but they weren't always as well done as they were here, so they are good options, too.
I liked all the healthy options. I had the platter with several meats and veggies and made my own spring rolls with rice paper, which was a lot of fun. I had fun making my own spring rolls and appreciated all the fresh veggies.
I had the spring roll sampler (pictured). The sauce on the fried wontons tasted almost like a salsa with some mango in it. It was particularly delicious. The white roses were interesting and worth trying at least once. The spring rolls were fantastic and not atypical.
The beef pho was delicious and pretty normal as far as pho goes around here. It had a little extra black pepper which I appreciated.
The pancakes were tasty but not quite as healthy as just getting meats. You can see them in the photos. They could be wrapped with the vegetables in spring rolls, which was fun, and nice to have some veggies.
The Cau Lau (pictured) was delicious. Right up there with the Cau Lau from stall 34. Something about the noodles makes it tasty as heck.
The tofu with mapo sauce (pictured) was not my favorite. The sauce was just okay.
The Mi Quang (pictured, with the eggs) was very tasty. I remember the shrimp and egg were particularly tasty.
The Com Ga was just okay. I think I am just not super into Com Ga in general, and it was nothing the cook did.
The stir fried Cau Lau with seafood had way too much oil and we didn't like it. It did have the same noodles as the traditional Cau Lau they make, and the noodles were delicious, but the latter was much better overall.
The fried wontons with red sauce are tasty if you want to try...

The restaurant charged a 20% New Year surcharge without informing customers in advance, only mentioning it at checkout. The food and service do not justify the high price, and there are many better options in Hoi An.
On top of that, I had an extremely frustrating experience with their payment system. I paid with my credit card and received a receipt confirming a successful transaction, but the staff insisted the payment didn’t go through just because they couldn’t print a summary report. Even after showing them my receipt and explaining that my bank processes transactions within two days, they refused to acknowledge it and forced me to pay again.
Later, I contacted my bank and confirmed that both payments went through, meaning I was charged twice - even though I spoke to the manager a lot of times to contact their bank and cancel the charge. Now, I have to go through a dispute process that will take 60 business days to resolve. From the beginning to the end, the staff NEVER APOLOGIZED—not when they wasted over an hour of my time arguing, not when they forced me to pay twice, and not even today when I confirmed both charges had gone through.
I would strongly advise against dining here unless you want to risk being overcharged and dealing with incompetent and unapologetic staff. Avoid this place—there are far better restaurants in Hoi An!
Add: Looking at the shop’s response, you can see how frustrating this was. The system had no error—the first payment went through. But instead of listening to reason, the shop refused to believe it and forced me to pay again. Now, I have to go through the hassle of a refund process for their mistake, and they act like it’s "of course" going to take a long time. Wouldn't the simplest and most basic thing for a shop be to NOT charge their...
Read moreI took my husband here today (Sunday, Apr 13) after reading many good reviews about your place and our experience was not very positive. The service was very slow, although the restaurant was not that busy, we had to wait for a long time to have our order taken but what shocked us the most was the waitress who took our order, she came with an attitude like we were bothering her while she was so busy doing her job, the way she talked to me was very short and rude and I'm not sure if it was because I talked to her in Vietnamese (or she preferred having foreign customers ???) My husband who doesn't speak Vietnamese at all still could “understand” her rudeness through her tone and facial expressions. He then watched her interaction towards other tables (foreigners) and she didn't seem that mean like she was towards me. To be fair, there were 3 waitresses working but only one of them (the one who was in charge of the counter and making drinks) was rude, the other two were very polite (however lack of attentiveness and eye contact to the customers so it took us quite sometime to get their attention). We've been staying in Hoi An for almost 2 weeks and all the restaurants we've tried, everyone was very kind, pleasant and the service was excellent, therefore your bad customer service became very rare and I had to leave a review. We will be coming here for another meal because we really enjoyed your food and hopefully we will get treated better this time. So 5 stars for the food and 1 star for...
