After my massage at Serena Spa, I was feeling pretty relaxed and hungry, so I decided to check out Cơm Linh, a local spot that a lot of people online seem to rave about — especially for its roasted duck.
From what I could find, this place has become quite a go-to among tourists and locals alike, thanks to word of mouth, YouTube foodies, and TikTok features.
The name "Cơm Linh" comes up a lot when people search for where to eat roasted meat in Hội An.
When I arrived, it was already quite packed, which is always a good sign. Luckily, the staff were organised and efficient — they take your name down and will call you when a table opens up.
So, even if it looks crowded from outside, don’t worry too much; the turnover is quite fast and there are plenty of seats inside.
We ordered their signature roasted duck and roasted pork, and both were solid. The duck was juicy, the skin nicely crisped, and the flavor had that slight herbal undertone typical of Vietnamese-style roasting.
The roasted pork had a nice crackling to it and was not overly fatty, which I appreciated. But I have to say — the flavor profile is very different from what I’m used to back in Singapore.
There’s less of the heavy soy or five-spice marinade, and more emphasis on freshness and natural seasoning. Not bad at all, just different.
We also ordered a side of morning glory (rau muống xào tỏi), and that turned out to be a great choice — crunchy, garlicky, and really tasty. It balanced out the richness of the meats nicely.
One thing to note: this place is very popular with tourists, so prices are slightly higher than some of the street food stalls, and you can expect a bit of a wait if you come during peak dinner hours.
But overall, the place is clean, the staff are polite and quick, and the vibe is more “casual dining” than street-side eatery.
If you're craving roasted duck while in Hội An, Cơm Linh is a good bet.
Just come early, be patient if there's a crowd, and bring your appetite — portions are generous, and the flavors are unique enough to give you a nice twist on what you...

We took the recommendation from the receptionist at the spa we visit earlier and ended in the queue waiting for our seat. The restaurant was fully seated and a waiting queue of 5 groups ahead of us.
The service staff was really friendly and attentive. She ask us to take a seat and handed over the menu for our selection. She den take our order ahead and we order for the roast pork, quarter portion of the roast duck, pan cake and the signature basket filled with spring roll and salad.
She was so kind to tell us that portion of their serving was generous and it was more than enough for the two of us. We went ahead with her recommendation and our seated was ready.
Food was served pretty Swift and the first dish on the table was the roasted pork. The service staff shown us how it's was eaten with the sauce. Yummy 😋
Second dish on the table was the quarter portion roasted duck. Never disappoint us at all. The meat was tender and a hint of herbal taste to it.
Den came the pancake, the service staff again shown us how to wrap the rice paper with the pancake. On my again I'm impressed with the food quality and service.
Last was the signature basket with spring roll and salad. Yes it was all so delicious and we were so glad we didn't order more than this. We were stuffed and had to take away the the roast pork and duck.
Overall 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the food quality and service. I will come back again with my family.

Read more416 000 dong (~ around 16 euros) is crazy cheap price for such an unreal taste of exquisite amount of different foods🤯. All the dishes were perfect and nicely seasoned, and perfect portions. All the dishes tasted top class from such a beautiful hidden gem in Hoi An!
I was there with my grandparents, and we ordered 2 dishes of noodle mix, stir fried rice with beef, and finally a dish of a deep fried spring rolls. The food was very delightful and delicious, with a full taste of Asian cuisine.
Food 5/5 is very edible and very versatile, fits for westerners and Vietnamese.
For drinks, we ordered one Saigon bia, two different smoothies, one banana, and papaya. The drinks were average, nothing special, I suppose.
Although they were quite cheap compared to our homeland (Finland), it was quite expensive compared to the food. 4/5
Service:Because it was rushed hour and tourist season, we had to wait approximately 10 minutes in a "Vietnamese" chair outside of the restaurant and pre-order from the menu just to get seated⚠️
Overall: Very good, and I highly recommend if your first time eating Asian and you dont quite a lot of choice or knowledge of Asian culinary culture.
4,5/5 Thank you for reading all this way and have a...
