I’d say this is one of the best places for breakfasts I’ve been. This place fast became our morning “go to” for breakfast.
The fruit salad was amazing! The value for money here was very good. The coconut coffee was like a dessert, the teas were really refreshing and the orange salad bowl was a really nice mix of sweet and savoury. We also had the chicken croissants on several occasions as they were so good, they were full of chicken and some really nice pickled vegetables. You can hardly go wrong with an order here. And the location is great, close to town, great for people watching, the staff were friendly and service was very good. It’s also slightly away from the tourist trap so you don’t get as many people trying to sell you cards. There’s a lovely little temple opposite which is worth a visit and if you’re looking for an ATM you go out the cafe and right, there’s two by the market. This should be on everyone’s “to do: breakfast list” we’d love...
Read moreI recently visited Dudu Cafe in Hoi An and had a mixed experience.
According to Google, the closing time on December 31st was listed as 10 PM, with no indication that it might change. Eager to enjoy one last meal and their famous coconut coffee before leaving Hoi An, we rushed over after a long walk from the suburb.
Unfortunately, when we arrived at 9:15 PM, the staff informed us that they were no longer taking orders. This was extremely disappointing.
Despite this, I must say that I love their food and drinks. The coconut coffee is a must-try—I'm already missing it! If you plan to visit, just be sure to double-check their closing times to avoid any disappointment. Hope the opening hours on Google is accurate!
Please also add a cushion on those two seats on the second row (on the right when facing to the shop). Now, the two seats are not comfy...
Read moreThis was the first stop we made in Hoi An - after a long morning of travel, my sons and I were hungry and decided to stop in for some food and coffee. It was SO good, we returned every day for more coffee, juices and tea. Their egg coffee is amazing both hot and cold, the server we had each day greeted us with a huge smile, the food was also outstanding, the ambience is cozy and nice - we especially enjoyed sitting upstairs. I can’t say a single bad thing about this cafe. If my travels ever bring my back to Hoi An, it’ll be one of my first stops. A must try when...
