Our experience at Miss Lien Thao's was nothing short of amazing! As three friends traveling together, we were looking for an authentic cooking class to dive into Vietnamese cuisine, and this experience exceeded all our expectations.
Our day started with a morning trip to the local market with Miss Lien Thao herself, which was such a unique and unforgettable experience. She guided us through the market, helping us pick out the freshest ingredients, explaining each item, and introducing us to local flavors and specialties we’d never have found on our own. Her infectious smile and warm personality made the whole market experience feel like an adventure!
After gathering everything, we returned to start our Vietnamese cooking class, where Miss Lien Thao patiently walked us through every step. Her teaching style was so fun and approachable, and she made even the more complicated techniques feel accessible. From fresh spring rolls to delicious pho, we learned to make (and eat!) some of the most iconic Vietnamese dishes.
The best part of the experience was her enthusiasm and passion for her culture and food. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and it was impossible not to feel inspired and excited along with her. We left with full stomachs, new cooking skills, and memories that we'll treasure forever.
We would highly recommend Miss Lien Thao’s cooking class to anyone wanting to experience the heart of Vietnamese food and culture. It's a must-do if...
Read moreThis is one restaurant among a cluster of them in Ancient town. They all have the same menu and same concept. Value for money meals that are light on your pocket and they also offer cooking class. We had white rose dumplings, pork noodles, deep fried wonton, crispy noodles with tofu, beer and water here. The bill for two was 265K VND which is value for money. The food was delicious. The crispy noodles had a layer of sauce right below so you could lightly dip the noodles in the sauce which would add a delicious mouth feel, right amount of crunch and softness. The fried wontons had bits of pineapple in them and that too was delicious. The service was quick and at the end of the meal we got complimentary passion fruit too. I would recommend...

We ordered the Cao Lau Xao pork and beef. Both very tasty. The fried pork wontons came after instead of before (like entree) so we were pretty full by then! These were cooked nicely and were huge, however I wasn’t a fan of the pineapple and I couldn’t taste the pork. Was almost like a corn chip with topping haha.
Then they brought out two bananas which we had no hope of fitting in lol.
Very fast friendly service. 280k which inc 3 glasses of red...
