We were enticed by the beautiful decor and good location. We ordered two different noddle soups as mains and an entre of spring rolls. Shortly later the entre and one main came out, the entre was delicious. The second main however, had been forgotten about (waited 20 minutes to make sure it was not just a matter of cook time). When asking the staff where the second meal was, it seem as though it was our fault. Checking the initial order bill they realised it had in fact been forgotten.
Upon arrival the late main also lacked most ingredient other than noddle and soup. The meal (on menu) boasted an array of seafood, though there was a single prawn. Much alike the first main that had two thin slices of beef.
Lastly, while remaining extremely polite despite the entire experience, I thought it only fair that since we had waited half an hour extra for the order to be fulfilled that maybe a small 10% discount could be negotiated. The managers response was extremely arrogant denying the discount like I had demanded 100% refund, immediately turning away, without apology.
I’m sure this restaurant usually has a great reputation. Believe me, I am not to sort to cause a fuss! The lateness and forgetfulness was only half the issue... It’s obvious that customer satisfaction is not a care for this manager. He was more concerned about...

Asked the tall waitress and she fully understood my request (I used Google Translate) but then proceeded to ignore it. I had to ask another waitress, who helped solve the problem. Incidentally it's not the first time this tall waitress has completely ignored a reasonable request. Ordered an ice cream but they brought it out before the main course... what kind of restaurant does this? The food is delicious but it feels like the service is on the arrogant side because they get so much tourist business that they don't need to care about the finer details or making customers like me happy. Maybe it's because I look Chinese, even though I'm from Canada? If they can improve, I'll be sure to update my review favorably in future. In all fairness though, all the other servers have been great, except for the tall waitress but she's there most of the time. Unfortunately she has a lazy "I don't really want to...
Read moreDid the cooking class with Hahn and it was easily one of the best things I did while traveling through Vietnam! Make sure to go hungry - there was so much food that I literally couldn't continue eating by the end, and that was a massive bummer because it was all so delicious.
The class starts off going through the nearby market, where Hahn shows you what food she's getting and how to tell the difference between good and mediocre produce. Then you head into the restaurant's second floor to cook. You go through so many different dishes, but it's awesome because she's showing you technique, not just guiding you through steps. And then at the end, you get printed version of all the recipes! I've tried to recreate them at home and haven't been quite as successful, but that reflects more on my skill (and the availability of ingredients locally) than anything here. If you're on the fence, just take the cooking class. Your future memories and present taste buds...
