If you want a bar that's open 24 hours, 7 days a week,365 days a year and has been continiously open for the last 38 years (Under a few different names) then this is the place to go. The staff are nice. The prices are medium. Lots of expats from various places that are mostly helpful

The food is medium priced and medium quality. This is not fine dining but some dishes are well worth the price. The beer is cheap especially as it's 24/7.

The part of the bar in the alley way is a little quieter than most other bars in the area and the money changer at the laundry, right next door, is reasonable if you need a quick exchange.

For what it is this bar is a good find. I gave it 4 stars because it's a quite pleasant experience to chill out here during the day and early evening. Late nights are also good but then it's more of the usual heavy drinkers. There is an "inside" area as well if you feel like a little...

The food is mediocre compared to other food choices in the area, but prices are cheap to tolerable.

The real appeal is the ambience. The beer is the cheapest in the area (~$1us for 700 ml bottle beer) and there are quite a few local expat characters that drink there regularly. If you want to know the dirt on travelling in Vietnam this is the place to go with its ear to the ground.

If you are looking for other things, chances are you will find it there or get information to find whatever it is you're looking for in Vietnam.

People are friendly, and in the evening, it's always entertaining with the locals and culture that are more dramatic than reality TV come to life.

Was raining a lot so went here to take cover and had dinner. The staff were ok, not very excited to be there working, I think rather be out doing other things. The coconut rice with chicken I had wasn’t prepared well. The chicken was dry ( been either over cooked or reheated again ) the rice was fried too much and some was rock hard. The other dish had similar issues with the chicken and was bland. On the other hand the smoothie was quite good, couldn’t complain along with the spring rolls.
