I normally don’t write reviews but with this restaurant, but I felt like people and travelers need to hear what I have to say, my friend that I haven’t seen in eight years, booked a reservation at this restaurant. I ended up getting injury the managements does a poor job ensuring all the table and chairs are securely fastened to the stool. As I was pulling the chair to slide forward the wooden seat of the chair lifted up and jabbed my finger between the frame of the chair and the seat. It ended up ripping half of the nail and flesh on the ring finger off, The pain was excruciating. I ended up going to the hospital and getting stitches. When I got back from the hospital the manager said this was all bad luck and his restaurant was not liable for the injury, how is that even possible. It was the restaurant seats they should routinely check up on restaurant equipment. Keep in mind guys this is a restaurant Is really pricy for Vietnam standard they should at least take better care of their customers and take responsibility for what has happened. We ended getting a contract set up and sign and my lawyer are going to pursue legal actions against this restaurant. Please stay away from this restaurant it’s not worth it getting injured like me. Below is the picture of my finger viewer discretion is advised. Du Ky restaurant my lawyers will be in contact...
Read moreThis dinner was a nightmare—horrific and unforgettable in the worst way. Despite Vietnam’s cuisine being renowned for its simplicity, speed, and incredible flavors, this meal was one of the most shocking experiences of my entire trip to Vietnam.
The wait for the food exceeded an hour. I ordered eel, and it seemed like it had just been fished out of the water—possibly from somewhere far away. To make things worse, the staff argued loudly in their own language right in front of us. The eel, once prepared, was bizarrely photographed by the staff before being served. By the time it reached our table, it was completely cold. While the eel itself tasted decent, the wait and the circumstances ruined the entire experience.
To add insult to injury, the pricing was not transparent. The price listed was per kilogram, not per dish, which made the final cost 3.5 times higher than expected. The side dish—fries—was served on toilet paper, which was unhygienic and beyond unprofessional. There were no napkins available anywhere in the restaurant, and to top it all off, a cockroach scurried across the floor. The only thing missing was a rat to complete this culinary disaster.
This meal was a tragic, appalling experience. I would never recommend this restaurant to...
Read moreDinner at this restaurant was a complete disappointment. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly waiter who tried to explain the prices. It seemed like we were being offered a discount, but it turned out the price quoted was per kilogram, not per dish. This made the meal three or four times more expensive than we expected. To make matters worse, a service charge was added to the bill, despite the poor service.
The restaurant was nearly empty, yet no one cleared the empty plates and bottles from our table, which sat there for over an hour while we waited for the main course. When the dish finally arrived, we asked about the rice that was supposed to come with the fish. We were told, unapologetically, that the rice was reserved for the staff and there wasn’t enough left for us.
Adding to the frustration, there were no napkins available, and we had to go to the restroom to wash our hands. To top it all off, the fries were served on toilet paper, which was both unprofessional and unhygienic. This level of service and presentation was appalling—something I’ve never encountered even in the most basic restaurants, let alone a place aspiring to higher standards. I cannot recommend this...
