I came here for dinner with a few friends and found our experience quite good.

We ordered the vegetarian dumplings for starters and found them soft and balanced in flavour. The sauce complimented the dumplings well too. Half of the dumplings did however fall apart when being picked up.

I ordered the bamboo chicken for mains with a Mojito and the chicken perfectly grilled and still moist in flavour. Some veggies would be recommended to order with that meal since it only comes with a few slices of cucumber.

The mojito was nice in flavour and made with plenty of rum. Both the passionfruit mojito and the normal mojito were of good quality.

The pina colada was quite average and a little underwhelming, but not bad.

I ordered a black sticky rice with yoghurt and some mango for dessert since I have never had this before. It wasn't bad, but not necessarily to my taste either. I am however happy I tried it!

The service is probably what sets this place apart from many other restaurants. They truly make sure (not just try) to give their guests a pleasant time.

I believe the food didn't take more than 5min after ordered to come out and everything was served piping hot, as it should!

This restaurant definitely offers a good dining experience and has their system well in order.

Our server did ask after we paid our bill if we could leave a review, yet he asked in the most kind and respectful way.

I recently dined at Quán Mẹt during my stay in Hội An and would give it a fair 4-star rating. While it didn’t quite live up to my expectations in terms of flavor or authenticity, there were still some positive aspects worth mentioning.

First, if you’re looking for truly traditional or authentic Hội An cuisine, this might not be the place. The dishes seemed a bit commercialized and lacked the depth of flavor that you typically find in more local, family-run eateries. I ordered a few vegetarian dishes, and while they were presented nicely, the taste was quite average — not bad, but not memorable either.

That said, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the restaurant offers a dedicated vegetarian menu. While the options were limited, it was still a thoughtful touch and appreciated by plant-based diners like myself. I do hope they expand this menu in the future with more creative and flavorful dishes.

One of the biggest highlights of the experience was the staff. The service was warm, friendly, and genuinely kind. The servers were attentive without being overbearing, and their positive attitude helped make the meal more enjoyable.

The setting of the restaurant is cozy and clean, with a casual, relaxed vibe that’s suitable for both tourists and locals.
