I’ve never been a fan of Korean cuisine — but after today, I might just change my mind! Youn’s Kitchen is owned by a friendly Korean host who speaks Vietnamese fluently. When our group of five arrived, the restaurant was fairly quiet, but just 30–45 minutes later, it was packed. Interestingly, we seemed to be the only Vietnamese guests in a space that felt entirely Korean — as if we were somewhere in Korea, not in Hoi An, Vietnam. That said, the staff were incredibly attentive and efficient, which helped us feel comfortable and truly enjoy the experience.
Here are a few specific highlights: Ambience: The restaurant offers both outdoor seating with fans and spacious indoor areas on the ground and upper floors — all air-conditioned and very comfortable. Drinks: We tried the traditional Soju, which was quite enjoyable. However, given the heat of Hoi An’s summer, we ended up drinking more Huda draft beer — served ice-cold in frosted glasses. Truly unbeatable. Food: The dishes were surprisingly familiar and easy to enjoy — grilled pork belly, grilled grouper, garlic butter shrimp, and shrimp fried rice were all flavorful and accessible to Vietnamese palates. Korean classics like kimchi pancakes and fishcake soup are worth a try too, though they might be an acquired taste for some.
Overall, we had a wonderful evening with a memorable dining experience. The food came out quickly and the service was nearly perfect. We’ll definitely return and recommend this spot to friends who are curious about Korean...

Read moreMy wife discovered this place via google reviews. We have been traveling through vietnam for the last three weeks. I must say it’s been a big disappointment with the food and coffees in Vietnam. The youtubers love to hype up vietnam and it’s nothing like it. Banh Mi has been disappointing. Go the Little Saigon in Orange County Ca and you will have better food. (I grew up in Orange County and had my shares of Banh Mi and various other vietnamese foods growing up) We were dying for some solid meat as we preferred to eat meat and limit carb. From a western perspective, the cost here is reasonable. We had two servings of grilled fatty pork and a seafood pancake. This was enough for the two of us. Alll dishes are done extremely well. Delicious!!!You can watch the grilling process outside the restaurant. We were upstairs and it was air conditioned so very comfortable. We are planning to...
