Bells Functions — Attraction in Perth

Hi there, I attended a function at your venue on Saturday night 1/2/25. Having dressed for the occasion and wearing high heel shoes the decking has large gaps and my shoes kept getting stuck in the gaps. I dealt with it however I wouldn’t recommend your venue unless thongs were the preferred footwear. There were many others wearing the same footwear who also complained. I suggest you have the decking sealed properly not just with silicone as this did not resolve the problem. Otherwise you may have a litigation case on your hands when someone breaks an ankle or something more serious. Also the riverside aspect of your venue was too hot and the louver windows weren’t open for fresh air. The bar options for beer, cider?, wine options etc were very limited. I am surprised given the location of your venue. I thought you might be more high end. I recently held my husband’s 50th birthday at a golf club in Port Kennedy and there was more of a selection in beer and wine. Even as a guest if having to pay for what wasn’t on the menu, your selection is dismal. You have the best location yet you scrimp on so many things. We had an amazing wedding at Bells Functions, and it was everything we hoped for. From the very beginning, Alana made the planning process easy. Her communication was great—she was quick to respond and was accommodating to our requests.

On the wedding day, the team executed everything well. The food was a standout, especially the barramundi and the Bailey's cheesecake, which our guests raved about! The venue had a beautiful ambience and view. We loved watching the sunset and river views.

We opted for a sit-down buffet dinner, which struck a balance between formal and relaxed. The mix of formal seating inside and casual seating on the balcony was a hit, creating a lovely space for socialising. Several of our guests complimented not only the food but also the atmosphere and the overall experience, some even calling it one of the best weddings they had attended.

If you’re considering having your wedding at Bells Functions, do it—you won’t regret it. The venue is an absolute gem, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you for making our wedding day so special...

Highly recommend this venue for a wedding or any other function. The venue is tastefully decorated, with a beautiful deck and riverside view. The coordinating and event staff are good communicators, friendly, helpful and accommodating. They very much supported me to plan my wedding reception with different vendors and had great suggestions on additions and timings. Our wedding receptions ran very smoothly.
